We discussed that a couple pages back. She's still part of the show, just playing a smaller part. Though she did say she'll be less involved later into the series.
The pilots weren't that good. At times I cringed a little.
If I wasn't quite bored and intrigued by the entire pony phenomena I probably would have stopped after them. Luckily for me I decided to continue on and watched the entire first five episodes in the first sitting.
