I'm just glad we have a mod or two now, We wont have an unfair purge by a mod having a bad day. Atleast one that wont be immediately rectified. I was on 4chan when that happened, and I wasn't a /b/rony then, but It was wrong and it shouldnt have happened. Glad that mod was removed.
I've always wondered are mods like volunteers or is it a paid gig? Actually I'll direct this right at the two brony mods here, Tehpillowstar or The_Pastmaster, is this a paid gig or is a volunteer thing. If you aren't comfortable answering publicly I'd love an answer in PM form.
Anyhow, It's amazing how quickly this "infects" new members of the herd. It seems like 60 pages (dear god thats a lot and only a few weeks ago) ago there were only like five of us, now there are what like twenty people two of which are mods?
EDIT: @Metagros 923 I happen to love slayer, and if I had means would be going to that major 4 concert in CA this summer, also, thats not the kind of comment needed here. I suggest trying it before you say anything. If afterwards you dont like it, at least it's a valid opinion.

It's kind of silly, since a lot of goons (SA users) still have MLP avatars (and since you have to BUY avatars there, they made thousands of dollars off said avatars!). I mean, even TvTropes is making fun of SA for doing this. Some of the goons made their own forum called Ponygoons, but it's not the same without paying money to get in and act all superior to everypony else.
*Gassed is the term for killing a thread on Something Awful, in case you didn't know.
Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax, the Big 4, that concert, god I wish I could go.
Anyhow I would say to you, that you should give everything at least a single try. Besides you wouldnt have posted a second time if you weren't in the least bit intrigued as to why so many people like ponies.
Through out the thread many of us have said why people should watch it, and this time it stands. Just start with the first two episodes. I think the first page even has one.
@ crazygamer6 Yeah I've heard of places being like that still. The original incident was just one rogue mod who didn't like ponies.

A short time ago I saw a picture, showing which episodes are good for beginners, and which episodes are not. I don't know if it was on this forum, or somewhere else, though. At least I wouldn't recommend just picking a random episode and start watching it.
Anyways, I think episode 10, 15 or 16 are good ones to start with.

Believe it or not, I've witnessed stranger things... Like how when everyone on the StarCraft forums all of a sudden started talking about zerglings with stim pack, lol, THAT was a great month... I am afraid very few of you will get the reference...

We ain't getting ****. Well, that was not completely true. We get loads of **** from the ones feeling that they are treated unfairly but here it's equality for all. No matter if the warning you receive is a second old or a month old, if you broke a rule you have to bite the sour apple if you get caught. Oh how I love "fan" mail.
