I can sort of do the 4x4 but the one really long algorithm (if you don't get the yellow cross, just three yellows and you have to flip the last pair) still eludes my memory, so if that doesn't happen I can solve it. I don't know how long it takes me.
I just memorized it as random phrases (pronouncing the alg, like 'brul, uru, frf, lbr')
Alg: Rr2 B2 U2 Ll U2 Rr' U2 Rr U2 F2 Rr F2 Ll' B2 Rr2, if I remember correctly

I realized I was god when I tried praying and found I was talking to myself.
I used to be able to solve a standard 3x3 Rubik's Cube. Then my friend decided he'd take a red sharpie and color in the white face. Upon discovering this, I smashed the cube onto the living room floor. I haven't had one since.
I can solve a 3x3 and I used to be able to solve a 4x4 but my 4x4 cube broke and I just forgot.
3x3 method/time?
The method from this .It would usually take me about a minute to solve it. I could have probably been able to do it faster if I lubed it up and actually cared to became a rubix cube speed runner.

Remember, Off-Topic is where you post every mundane, uninteresting thing about your life for everyone to cherish and enjoy.
I'm also a compulsive liar.
The thread is 'Who can solve a Rubik's Cube?' not 'Who doesn't want to learn to solve a Rubik's Cube and would rather just take it apart and put it back together to be all smug and ****?'

Fix'd.

↑Easyfix.
Learn his method, then 2LOLL (2-look Orientation of the Last Layer) and 2LPLL (2-look Permutation of the Last Layer), then F2L and 1LOLL and 1LPLL.

You would be a god. But I don't think you can solve it. :smile.gif:
I just got a cube a week ago, and am trying to solve it as fast as I can. I read some online algorithms and I can do a 3x3 cube 10 minutes, but now my goal is to get it to 2 minutes.
Kind of a bump, but it's somewhat related
What would you people think if I solved this ?
I'm pretty sure if you can solve a gigaminx, a petaminx shouldn't be too much harder, but rather just take much longer. Not that I even believe you spent thousands of dollars buying one :/
I can solve them in under 20 seconds average (Haiyan memory cube), and I don't really practice 4x4 much but I can solve it in about a little under 2 minutes (Maru; I still don't know if they're "illegal"). I also like 3bld, and training for 4bld (I've only ever succeeded once; I've tried maybe 8 times total?). At my maximum, I knew a total of about 200 algorithms for all cubes, I think.

That's not the point....
Cutting the Gordian knot, I see.
You heard that, green and red.
