It was all over the news i didn't pay attention to it really, but I heard they found teeth in Israel(i think),and I could just explain it but you have a better time not waiting for me to write 50 whole paragraphs repeating myself 50 different ways. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/ml_israel_ancient_teeth
I guess i can imagine christians having parties and repenting after I guess.

"When one is so stupid, thou shall reply with a facepalm,or try and cure it,"
This doesn't disprove evolution. Just that the current theory may be out of order.
It also states that Teeth are an unreliable source:
Teeth are often unreliable indicators of origin, and analyses of skull remains would more definitively identify the species found in the Israeli cave, Mellars said.
It says right in the article that it probably means nothing. Its just poorly written and sensationalist that it say first that "evolution could be wrong" and second "that its probably just a Neanderthal tooth and 100% consistent with the mainstream understanding of anthropology";
"Based on the evidence they've sited, it's a very tenuous and frankly rather remote possibility," Mellars said. He said the remains are more likely related to modern man's ancient relatives, the Neanderthals.

Read it properly before jumping to conclusions.
Yeah the "I really didn't pay attention to it" and "Christians boasting about it".Explains a lot for me.

An anomalous discovery is no promise of the downfall of an entire scientific theory. These findings will be scrutinized for accuracy, and presuming it is valid then revisions will have to be made within the theory. The concept is very simple.
Interesting, but not conclusive proof!
Sneaks away before the theoillogicals arrive...
I'll probably not care about this thread anymore if they do come,or i could stay quiet and let them rage and i laugh.Probably some theist will come for a funny all out war.

lol I just love to see an atheist apply logic to Christianity, but won't apply it to scientific theories.I also love the christian that denies everything no matter how much proof is given.

Take these HURRRRR THEISM VERSUS ATHEISIGNM squabbles to the Religion thread. That's suprisingly off-topic for this thread, given the topic for this thread.

I am NOT going to see friend requests, so stop sending them.
This has nothing to do with the Theory of Evolution, just the theory of where humanity originated.
Considering the depth of diversity in the haplotypes of Africans, it is still pretty certain Homo Sapiens originated there. One tooth doesn't change that.
If these initial conclusions hold, this actually further disproves Judeo-Christian creationism. Since the Bible says that Adam and Eve were eating apples a few thousand years ago and this tooth is a few scores of thousands of years old.

Young Earth Creationism. The variety of Creation beliefs is too wide even among Jews and Christians to make such a blanket statement.

Semantics. Replace "Judeo-Christian" in my post with "Young Earth" and my argument holds strong.

Except they're not synonyms -- not even close -- and that tiny word difference is a blanket statement, as River said.

I don't know i heard christians talking about how this is one step for creationism, and atheist will bow down before god.

It does, perhaps, show that evolution is a slower process than previously thought. But that's my speculation :tongue.gif:
