All i can say is, great movie. Great plot, good filming (nice shots, ex. paradox shot) nice effects, but it might be "too complex" for some people. Don't go see it if you can not handle puzzles.
@ Inception
And the shots! Did you know, for the hotel coridor fight with changing gravity, they didnt use greenscreen, they got part of an aeroplane, built the room inside, then had it roate in realtime! :biggrin.gif:
That scene was epic! Imma have to look this up because its almost too epic. Also (minor spoiler), if they were floating in the hotel dream, why weren't they floating in the snow dream. The van in the warehouse dream clearly had a big effect on the physics in the next world, but none of that carried over?
EDIT: looked it up. No parts of an airplane were used. They used an airplane hanger for its size, then had the rooms built in huge rings and spun it there.

(current post #)+ 332 because of old account epic failing on me.
Yeah, I don't get it. It's a simple concept, I understood this more than Dark Knight. Jesus, that movie seemed over-hyped to me. I wish I could enjoy it, but I just didn't like how dark it was. I want to see batman beat the **** out of the joker, not get out-smarted by him at every turn, which makes him even more depressed. I didn't like it. I suppose it's a love hate thing.
But Inception, OH MY GOD! It was amazing. Seriously, the best Christopher Nolan movie. Possibly the best action movie. Okay, I have to tell people my theories, though. Sorry for the spoilers. Once again, THERE WILL BE SPOILERS. Possible endings:
1. Alright, so the ending shows the top spinning, right? So it cuts out, but it ends up dropping anyway, Cobb is in reality, he actually sees his children.
2. Cobb goes to the Japanese guys limbo, then the Japanese guy kills himself and returns to reality. Cobb happens to stay behind in his own limbo, but thinks he is actually in reality. He gets through security, because it was his projection, and he gets home to his kids, because that is what he projected. When he spins the totem, however, he just leaves it before it stops, because he doesn't care whether he is in reality or not, he just wants to be happy and see his children.
3. He is actually in Mal's dream. Now I know it's a bit far fetched, but think about it. Mal's totem was the same as Cobb, so when he found it he didn't really know what it felt like, or if it dropped in the real world. So this whole time, he could have been in limbo with Mal, and all the people in his dream were just projections. This one is probably not likely, but it's possible.
4. There is no real definite ending to the movie, other than to keep the audience on the edge of their seat, and to question what reality. Could you be in a dream right now?
Those are what I think might be going on. In any case, eventually Cobb will wake up from whatever dream he is having, once the sedation wears off. So no matter what, he will be in reality eventually. He might just have to dream for a hundred years, though.
@ Inception
It made perfect sense to me.
You heard that, green and red.
Reading spoilers before watching movies is not cool, bro.
To create more time... because each successive dream causes time to slow exponentially. There might have been another reason but I can't remember.
I enjoyed the movie a lot.
I was thinking the same thing.
This.
And I loved it. All the cool distortion and explosions were awesome.
I wish I could do that in my dreams.. :<
I was very disappointed...up until they boarded the plane. After that, the idea was planted, and it grew, and I enjoyed.
