And the shape of the lettering makes me feel like they may try to 'badass' the series by adding a protagonist with more spiky clothing and a few rap numbers.
...Rap numbers?
Rap numbers.
Rap numbers...
Duke, did you forget to put your brain in today? Seriously? First off, the series started with god-awful karaoke rap numbers. Secondly, an attempt to make the series darker would not only be a very welcome change at this point, it would do everything but include rap numbers. This isn't ****ing 1997.
I assure you, I have a crack team of specialists who make sure my head is filled to the brim with gray matter each morning. And let me refute your points:
1. Pokeraps were a side music thing, not something included in the series when I watched it. One could ignore them, as they were not part of the show itself.
2. I refer to 'badassify' in quotes for a reason: It is a failed attempt at that goal. I stopped watching Yu-Gi-Oh when my sisters no longer mocked it with me, but I've seen what they tried later on. I'm all for the show having slightly darker elements, but this is Pokemon. The creators sure as hell are not going to place their diamond-exhaling cash cow on a risk like making it darker. More than likely it'll be as watered down as the current series is.
Granted rap in itself is not bad, but Anime generally has bad luck with it. Granted good anime can have horrible raps(Gurren Lagaan...), but I'm not expecting it from something that has been milked for so long.
Well
they better end with ash catching a missingno, the screen going into some horrifying lovecraftian acid trip for a few horrible minutes, and then ending abruptly.
You know that would be awesome.
but first he goes back into the computer and throws an Asian kid at the porygon that gave kids seizures, however, he now corrupted the internet while in it and so he faces said missingno and left with not much to do he has an epic battle filled with abuse of strobe effects and finally catches it, then "the screen going into some horrifying lovecraftian acid trip for a few horrible minutes, and then ending abruptly." THE END.

I still haven't come to terms with the fact that you're genuinely worried about them shoehorning in rap as a major theme.
Besides, Pokemon overall has been getting progressively darker and more story-driven since Gen III. There was even a cross-generation arc about Giovanni being Silver's father between FR/LG and HG/SS. The Mystery Dungeon games are, in particular, very deep and grim. The comics have always been edgier than the games and show. There was also a shirtline targeted directly at elderly fans. The only thing that hasn't caught up is the anime. Can you honestly say that, after 650+ extremely formulaic episodes, you wouldn't like something a bit heavier?
i think they should have a talking pokeman as the main pokeman trainer
lol
That would be crazy, and awesome.
Pokemon White: Meoth's Turn?
Meoth joins forces with Giovanni's Persian and enslaves the entire Team Rocket force and actually gets work done, hence Ash's mysterious disappearance from the new anime. Meoth has him killed and pikachu held captive to power a secluded TR building on a small island in order to keep him from doing real harm to operations.

Meoth forces him to sleep with Misty, instead, Brock sleeps with every pokemon he owns and Misty tries to sleep with Togepi but suffocates it overnight, needless to say, they enjoy a nice egg breakfast in the morning.
EDIT: next night, Misty tries to arouse Brock, Brock orders onix to kill him. Brock dies, Misty goes back to gym and lives her life as a shitty leader.
EDIT: or would it be better if Meoth tortures Brock and Misty by having them sleep with Jessy and James respectively. I happen to remember this one episode where Jessy impersonates a nurse Joy and Brock has no attraction to her...as for Misty and James, maybe they are a good match. I dunno, I suppose Brock still commits suicide, James too I guess...Jessy and Misty turn lesbian and sleep together. Meoth facepalms, episode over.

lol
how does one sleep with geodude and onyx?
Its pokemon...THEY STILL DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE EGGS COME FROM! Don't make me try to explain pokemon sex...it just happens.
btw, added Jessy and James spin off, not nearly as good imo, I'll add separate story for their punishment.
Let's be honest, that is the one line any of us like. Hearing the rest of it kills my memories.

I do want Pokemon to be darker, I just don't think it'll happen. And if there is an attempt at it then it'll be half-assed and lame. There are ways it could be pulled off(Ways that would be awesome), but I point yet again to doubting it happening.
I lol'd
and also, the link doesn't get me anywhere, does it exist anymore?
