I am planning on upgrading the RAM on my pc. And I have also recently purchased the win 7 upgrade (pc originally vista), of which, I installed 36-bit win 7 because my computer only has 3 GB RAM, say I double that with upgraded parts, can I use the 64-bit disk that came in the same pack as the 36-bit disk to upgrade again? My concern is that the product key is already registered and will not verify for a second install, however, if the product key is tracked by ip address or something identifying the original computer installed on, then hope still remains. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Yes, its a vista upgrade, so I will not be able to re-install Win 7 for 64 bit then, alright. Maybe I'll just go better graphics card without more RAM, or...32-bit takes up to 4gb RAM, correct? Maybe ill just get that instead of 64-bit worthy memory.
