I think you missed the point.
Christians believe there is one god, and only one, and it's the god of the christian bible. Other cultures have different gods. Some worship multiple. That leaves the possible "Gods" in the hundreds, if not thousands. Atheist (a-theist) Means "Without God", which could mean that Christians, by only believing in their god, are by definition Atheists, in a sense. The ancient Romans referred to Christians as Atheist, because at that time the Romans were Pagans, and therefore believed in more gods hen Christians, for they were without gods such a Zeus, ect.
