My son likes Minecraft and watching YouTube gamers (he is 6). He watches Ethangamer and Ryan's world mainly. I've stopped him watching Preston and a couple others (which I can not remember their names) for being too shouty and aggressive for my liking. Is there any other gamers which other parents can recommend that is suitable for his age?
I apologize if this is not the appropriate forum.
I apologize if this is not allowed here; please, moderator, just delete it, and I repeat my apologies.
Not sure if great but this video seems fair on the topic:
I think some like Stampy Long Nose/Head (I forget if that's their in-game name or the Youtube channel name) is an option. I've always heard good things about them. https://www.youtube.com/@stampycat
I don't know if Hermit Craft group of people is kid friendly they are good people. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=hermitcraft But some of them sort of go a bit far with the game, so like redstone or different creative builds, it varies. I assume may be still possible for a kid to follow what's going on I'm not sure. Many people older still watch them of course so all the updates and things people like to know while still doing survival and other stuff are people like Xisuma Void. I'm subscribed to them and watch them on occasion (rarely) and they are great. Their content is good I just look for different videos from them then what you\'d likely have your child watch that's all.
But I guess others part of that group are good as well. Their coverage/focus on different parts of Minecraft.
I assume kid friendly, they don't swear, they may just go for a bit more pushing the game's limits with different things "I think" sometimes but always come up with something cool to do in the base game/vanilla game as some players call it. At least many of us in the modding community do.
I forgot about Dan TDM. https://www.youtube.com/@DanTDM Always heard good things about them. Not seen much of theres but I assume their reputation is still high for kids content.
I'd heard good things about LDShadowLady but wasn't sure. I'd seen her content before I think in places or heard of her before when you see other youtubers come together for some videos. https://www.youtube.com/@ldshadowlady I thought she was great whenever I'd seen her content, but I don't know what she has done in a while, probably all sorts of stuff.
I'd say just see what you can find. I just did a brief search and went off some youtubers I remember hearing about as I don't really watch many anymore. I go my own path nowadays and cover niche things or play 100s of games as a game collector so I only sometimes focus on Minecraft.
I mostly used to watch people that covered mods in the game and I myself do the same is I cover mods, don't swear but it can be technical stuff more for people that are older.
But they are more for a 20+ audience due to the complexity of the mods which most older people that play the game go about doing is they understand how to mod the game and may play technology mods, fantasy, all sorts of things. Pushing the game further.
They also vary and many of them can be family friendly but it's just the content can be a bit hard for a kid to follow sometimes. Unless they due to more accessible ones that are still understandable and just add little changes but still familiar of the base game or recognizable things.
So what your looking for is people playing the console versions or Bedrock more likely I think. But which channels in particular I don't actually know many for sure.
I think a fair few male/female youtubers out there are good for kids to watch I just don't remember some of their names besides the few above.
I'd say check for any that fit Youtube Kids (not that it's the best app ever for that kind of curation) but it's still good enough.
Unless you can find a video that details/highlights any family friendly youtube channels out there that's worth a try.
But I don\'t disagree though I can't stand many of the channels where they scream, or get too wild during minigames or survival or creative mode or whatever part of the game. Or multiplayer servers and things.
I'd rather a more gets to the point and really wants to showcase things. It's why I always played and watched youtubers that played in survival or built in creative. But mostly modding these days.
Like I never have issues watching Xisumavoid or Direwolf20, but Direwolf20 is more tech mods so. Or Antvenom that has changed their tone over the years but is more particular on niche content that more 20+ year old audiences that know the game well would be more into. I think.
But I've been gaming for 20+ years across console/PC and collect video games so I've been out of the loop on what many family friendly youtubers are out there for any games or even Minecraft anymore as I've gone my own path with Minecraft/youtube content and make what I would watch rather then watching it (unless it's like game analysis, music or games in the wider space for older people) as no one else was making it so I cover the niche minecraft modding stuff.

Could you please delete this question? Thank you.
Yeah they don't offer deleting comments anymore I think it's weird.
If your still interested in a response. You could try searches like this: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=family friendly minecraft channels and see what you can find.

Not sure about this one: https://www.youtube.com/@maizenofficial/featured but seems ok. I've maybe seen similar thumbnails/cover art for the videos before but never seen their videos.
