Looks like people like their exclusive games more than the simple raw spec of the machine. In either case though both the PS5 and Xbox series X will be pushing video game technology forward. I think the series S was a waste of time because that is not a significant improvement over the One X from the previous generation, or even a PS4 Pro. But at this time there wasn't going to be a better budget option. If it were up to me, I'd get the Series X, anything less means you're missing out on what the next gen has to offer, imo.

I'm sure that developers will make anything cross platform work just fine on both consoles so the only real difference for most consumers these days are the exclusives.
Is that market share chart from last gen? I heard microsoft almost gave up on xbox after the xbox one, and seeing how much sony crushed them I'm not surprised.

It's because Microsoft doesn't have enough exclusive games. Even Nintendo managed to sell more units of their Switch console than Microsoft sold Xbox One, recently XB1 has been made last place in the lifetime total units sold worldwide. This is the third time in a row Nintendo destroyed them, the last time they were beaten was with the much weaker 3DS system. But if you already have a Nintendo Switch by now, you can't go wrong with either an Xbox series X or Playstation 5 console to get access to third parties that don't make it on the Switch, because some games do need the extra power to work.
EDIT: just for trolling a bit, I'll say... Nintendo Wii. (Sorry it's fun to troll in this type of threads plus the Wii is, in my opinion, the best console Nintendo has made. I know this because one of my friends has one.)
only 2 weeks and the Next-gen consoles will be released, which one will/would you buy?
statistics says that ps5 will win in 148 from 161 countries

PC
"I exist."
A PS5 if I ever manage to get one
I'm an Xbox fan, if only because of my parents - they didn't get any PlayStations until a year after the PS4's release.
Both have their benefits though.
I choose Xbox Series X because Xbox Game Pass is a frankly incredible investment offering up constant new exclusive titles for no extra investment.
I play on Xbox Series X
I have a ps5 it sucks idk abt the xbox series tho
Been playing minecraft since 2013 and i mainly play legacy console editions and sometimes bedrock edition

It can be played on:
