Gaming, programming, working on cars, riding motorcycles, boating, swimming, reading, watching TV (lately its The Good Place and various anime), and cooking.
Related to watching TV is my current primary hobby; home theater building. Working on converting a rec room downstairs to a dedicated theater space. Got the projector, screen, speakers and receiver awhile then two weeks later, receiver toasts itself. Gotta get a new one. Also my electrician who was going to run all the wiring in the walls and ceiling cancelled my appointment because of COVID. He still isn't doing house calls yet, so for now I have wires everywhere lol. Still have a lot of work to do. Need to remove the ceiling light and install two speakers in the ceiling for a Dolby Atmos 9.1.2 setup, build a proper mount for the center and subwoofer, cover the walls in navy velvet and the ceiling in black velvet (to absorb light bouncing off the screen). Need to get a proper HTPC case and transfer the computer's guts, need a new Yamaha Aventage receiver and I want to cut the back wall and build a recessed equipment rack. So much to do, but it's fun. I'm just glad that I at least have the basic equipment up awhile so even if the room is still unfinished I can watch my TV shows on a huge screen.
Though I do regret getting a cinemascope screen. It's 138" 2.35:1 ratio, really wide so when you watch movies it totally fills the screen with no letterboxing. For regular 16:9 content it does pillarboxing (black bars on left and right). I'm finding though now that I've had the screen up for a couple months that the majority of what I watch is 16:9. D'oh!
I've various hobbies like book perusing, watching movies/seasons, and gardening however I gardening the most that I love to invest my extra energy with nature I'm a nature darling. At the point when I get exhausted or worry I invested my energy in my garden cutting the additional edges of grass with a lawnmower, deal with blossoms and check the vegetables that I've planted in my garden. It's like enslavement for me on the grounds that at whatever point I'm in my garden removed my pressure and my state of mind gets glad and I feel mentally unwinding.
