The ONLY valid way to make coffee is pourover. Ratio of 18 fl. oz/24 g of burr-ground fresh coffee with the grind size of salt and an electric-heated gooseneck kettle. You want an initial pour of 25 g of hot water spiraling from the center, just enough to wet all the grounds. Wait 30 sec, then start your second pour of 100g spiraling of the center. You will then wait a minute and start your third pour. Wait another minute then do a fourth pour for a grand total of 425 g of coffee. Decant it into your coffee cup and you're good to go.
At first I hated coffee but ever since starting work and having to wake up early it's my life support now LMAO, I normally just have a flat white but if I really need a boost I'll just drink it black.

I get why you'd do most of this but don't understand why the kettle has to be electric-heated or why you'd decant the brew if the coffee grind is the size of salt. What am I missing?
My favorite has to be pour over as well. Except instead of decanting I pour directly over to the filter holding the coffee and let it drip (Just like you would with a Chemex). I just cannot stand even the slightest amount of sediment in my coffee and dislike that slight bitter flavor too, so I avoid any method that involves decanting.
When I was younger I used to like it French-pressed but that was probably because my great grandmother left my grandad a French press and he would always tell me the story of it when preparing coffee. I was always happy hearing it and that might have altered my perception of the taste.
As you can probably guess I'm not a huge fan of it nowadays.
None of this matters though since I make most of my coffee in a moka pot anyway. I'm too lazy to pour over unless I'm preparing several cups and I think it tastes pretty similar anyhow

If I want coffee, I drink it black or espresso. If I want a cocktail, I mix it with something (:
Well, depends. Sometimes I need a "slap to my face" then I reach for espresso doppio. At work I usually drink white, cappucino or latte.
At the beach only frappucino.

I rarely drink coffee at all.
Formerly Harge from 2016-2019 RIP
Late to this thread but I like my coffee iced to mask out the bitterness, lmao.

I can only drink coffee with milk and no sugar
The way I prep my coffee is to take the cup, add the beans, pour in the water, stir, then pour it down the drain and refill the cup with iced tea lol
Never tried this. Must be how the rich folks do it.

I usually drink espresso, I like it more than the rest.
Coffee mate 3-in-1 + nescafe black.
Jk. That will be really bad. But I prefer adding milk in my coffee especially if I'm going all nighters
Classic black coffee with some vanilla creamer and ghirardelli white chocolate syrup. Yum.
I drink decaf. i put lots of sugar in it and non-dairy creamer.
I love books and minecraft.
I put sugar and lactose free milk in my coffee.
