mmm yesterday i learned that stairs are not enjoyable in snowy weather. I have a big old bruise on my arm from falling. Thankfully though, my phone (which fell out of my pocket and got burried in snow) is fine. now i'm really cautious when going up or down stairs on campus.
Is it wrong I want to see something like that exist just to make the seventies sci-fi dream a reality?
Nevermind all this sleek fiberglass, rounded edges and organically integrated components nonsense. I want the retro dream to be real. I want things to be like the living space of the Nostromo or the space lobbies in 2001.

In my own fall experience, it turns out the restraining jacks that are used in the trucks we unload at work were all broken when I was trying to detach them which lifts some of the responsibility off from me and into the hands of the distribution center.
For a start some wise-guy had tightened down the one that broke free on my, spilling me onto the floor and twisting my ankle was so tight it was actually bowing the inner walls of the trailer outward so much so it probably wasn't holding right. And I was told today that after I took my spill and they got further in there were a bunch more of those broken. One had even lost its rubber boot on one end so the distribution center just decided to stick naked metal against trailer wall and call it good.
The kicker is they put the lost boot for it on top of one of the pallets in behind and shipped it like we'll deal with it.

I know you probably haven't seen it before, but there's this slippery glass thing called ice.
I'm so jealous. Or jelly as my kids say.

Its unnatural i tell you.
Turn back before your brain melts.
And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall, and not a soul to hear.
Too late.
Edgy lad
who are you
i have now. neat. thanks.
that's weird.
