I could eat for Scotland, yet I remain skinny. Don't know if I'm glad or scared that one point in my life I will spontaneously blow up like a pufferfish at a random moment.
I did that in about the last 6-7 years. Getting old, metabolize slows down, sedentary job, hormones becoming unbalanced (with age); and the weight gain started creeping up on me. I probably spent all the way up till my early 30's or so at 140-150, without worrying about my diet or exercise. Now it's catching up with me, and I got to do something about it.

I've heard running is a really good way to burn it off, can apparently be quite a fun hobby.

Can you match my resolve? If so then you will succeed. - Monty Oum

That's pretty much what I do. Do treadmill and then either the steppers or the row machine. I'm too old to care about muscle mass, just want to get some of this excess weight off. And for the little I pay a month it's worth being in climate control plus, treadmills are easier on the feet than actually pounding pavement. Hopefully I'll have some success.

Strange. The 24hr clock is more efficient. Why stick to the 12hr clock? I get sticking to imperial measurements because learning a new system (even if it's as easy as metric which is base 10), but is the 24hr clock that confusing to someone who hasn't learned it?
We use the best time because it's better than commie time. Can't be commie, better dead than red.

I do not know if I should even keep trying to not be skinny.

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king
Girlfriends are a meme, guns and dogs are all you need.

Helllo! How are you?

Or as us Americans call it
Inferior time
Americans are the most likely to use it, though.
Only people that use it are the military and that one scary loner kid at school.

We have a song thread down in 'culture' if you wanna check it out.
