I... I'm not sure to be honest. I got my fascination with trains when I was only 18 months old. I was downright obsessed with trains in my childhood. Played with my Lego sets everyday when I wasn't playing Spyro or Gran Turismo 2. I despised everyone in my classes.
To this day, I'm still not sure what to do with my career. I had always wanted to be a high speed train engineer since I was little, but after taking a look at the pay and insane hours here in the U.S... I've changed my mind on my career. I was so sad to first hear from my parents that it isn't a good idea, only to find out it was true. I mean, I could still be a volunteer steam locomotive engineer, but I know that's outside of my endurance and I'm not a morning person. The nearest place to be one is one and a half hour drive from my place.
At this point in time though, I don't know partly because I know I'm capable in multiple sectors, but still know my limits. Right now studying for admission tests to a university to get my Ph.D in biology and get a teaching degree.

Probably depends on one's age I'd wager. I know my children aren't and will continue to not be. And perhaps an extra adjective in that initial post would better convey the level of shelter.

I was the Know Everything, gets 100% on every test, but kicks a** if someone tries to bully type of kid.My parents spoiled me to the max,as I was the cute little princess that could force her dad to buy her whatever she wants.I never cleaned up,cared for others and pushed my way to the top.
That one kid who no one like because she didnt fit in because of her high intelligence, then swiftly blackmailed them all and laughed maniacally as I ended social lives one by one >:D
-snip- math, and math I always said that I wouldn't need them in the future and I was right.
.........
Math is one of the most important subjects you will/did learn ever. I use basic arithmetic all the time, and algebra teaches an important way of thinking, even if you don't use all the fancy formulas etc.
I was an incorrigible know-it-all, a quality which manifests as bratty in kids. I suppose the only thing that's changed is that I know more, now. This characteristic stops being "incorrigible" and starts being an asset once you hit a certain age.
I didn't really have passions, just flights of fancy. Some people went to school to get an education; I went because my mom dropped me off there every day and because it was no real trouble. Made friends with people who were funny or smart, but mostly just sat back and watched.

Me? I was born in Texas and moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana when I was a baby and I spent my childhood there. I enjoyed the movie Cars and I liked to collect the characters, I also enjoyed action figures and video games. However, my childhood wasn't always fun. I have been bullied all my childhood and I still am in High School (But rarely). I have been bullied mentally and physically; I have been mocked, kicked, punched, tripped, and spat on by other kids and why? Because they are jealous because I am liked and receive the most fortune out of the adults, unlike them I was successful. I have survived 2 hurricanes which destroyed our tree and punctured our roof (Second one did because I remember it but the first one I didn't really remember because I was three when it happened). I went to a private school for two years before it got bought by another private school and that school made me disciplined, made me who I am today.
I don't even want to think about it. Cringey, naïve, weird, asocial and awkward, at the same time as my conversations were years ahead of my classmates. Most of the time was spent in my own world, fantasizing about the mysteries of life and the universe, as well as doing world building.
It wouldn't have been so bad had I not been so pathetic.
Always was the one wanting to go on an adventure, and of course wield a katana and scour the lands slaying monsters, and what be it. That pretty much sums it up.

The small Asian kid with really long hair who was pretty shy but wasn't really once you knew him.
Actually, now that I think about it, I think the last time I was like that was March of this year.

That's not a good thing.
I remember being fascinated with history. Which is interesting, because I couldn't care less about history nowadays.
