Well I guess if my paycheck doesn't get deposited in the bank, I might start to think that. But no, I have never felt superstitious about any of that stuff. But I still humor my wife and eat pork, blackeyed peas, and cabbage on New Years day.

A few years ago, my school got a threat it was going to be shot up on Friday the 13th. Still went to school, nothing happened. Less than half of the kids came to school.

Sadly, that Friday was my birthday. I think it's just a number once picked out of a hat to be deemed as unlucky.. people of older years liked to find random things to blame for bad coincidences occurring or a day that they could use as an excuse to not go outside.. in fear they would see a black cat or something else silly.
