I just woke up from a catnap. Pun intended.
Anyway, I had a dream where I was in my bathroom and an odd, orange fish with two front legs, a long round body and a broad mouth, jumped out of the floor drain and started eating nearby insects. When it saw me it scurried away out of the bathroom and into my bedroom where it ran under the door into my closet. And all I could think was... I hope it doesn't die in there and start to smell....
Even if a dream isn't strange, it's strange because it's not strange. Do you get me?
Yeah I get you. And dreams are generally odd, as in they don't make a lot of sense, but every now and then you have one that is completely absurd.
Last night I had a dream My parents and I picked up my brother from the airport. He was coming home. When we arrived at the airport his favorite singer was giving a concert in the middle of the airport terminal. When I saw my brother he was almost twice as tall, and very skinny. He was also very unhappy and wearing dark clothing. When we met him, he just mumbled, "Okay, let's just do this then". We all went to drink tea at a cafe... At the cafe he barely covered the bottom of his cup with tea, yet still wanted to share what amount he had with my dad. I then woke up. (my brother passed away over a year ago.)

I guess I should have mentioned he was 6 foot 5 inches before he passed, which made him over 12 feet tall in the dream. Absurd... and yeah, I guess it was pretty spooky too.
One dream I had, I was walking around and encountered a group of teens plotting to kill someone. They found out I had overheard their plans, and threatened to kill me, too, if I took any action. Well, I wasn't going to let that stop me, so I tried to call the police, just to find out I couldn't get any cell service. I then spent the rest of the dream trying to get away from the gang and contact someone in authority.
What was really strange, though, is at no point in the entire dream did I ever feel fear, just annoyance. It was like,
"Oh, great! A bunch of teens are plotting murder! Typical."
"Oh, and now they want to kill me, too. <sigh>"
"...and OF COURSE I can't get cell service here, in the middle of this suburb. Seriously, it's 2016 already, FIX YOUR INFRASTRUCTURE."
Come to think of it, I've had several dreams where something frightening was happening, but I only felt mildly irritated. In fact, I think the only time I ever really feel scared in dreams is when arthropods show up unexpectedly.

A while ago I had a really freaky dream, the setting of the dream was night time:
I got out of my bed as if I had been sleeping inside the dream, and I walked around the house looking for my family. For some reason nobody was home except for me, so I went out the door and started flying to my neighbors house. When I arrived at the door and tried to open it, it just magically shut again very forcefully. After a couple tries to open it, I gave up and started flying back to my house. When I was in between the two houses, I heard a sound like a car engine come from the road. I paused to see what car was coming, if it was anyone I knew. A few seconds later a motorcycle came by, but it was moving incredibly slowly, and no one was on it; it was a ghost-cycle I guess you could say. For the entirety of the time the motorcycle was moving, I could here a man's deep, booming voice chuckling around me, but I couldn't see any people. When the motorcycle moved past my general field of view, the chuckling stopped, and it started moving fast again, and the same loud car engine sound happened again, but still no one was riding it. Pretty freaked out, I resumed my flight towards my house. When I got there, I walked into my mother's room and found her rocking on a chair. I asked her how she got there and she replied, "I've been here all night. Now can you go ask the neighbors if they have any sugar?" I thought about telling her the neighbors weren't home, or at least that their door was haunted, but I figured they might be there since my mom had suddenly appeared as well. I walked to the front door and was about to go out when I sensed that something was behind me. I turned around and saw my mom was pale and had red, wild eyes. I tried to open the door as fast as possible, but she grabbed my arms and tried to strangle me or something, but then I woke up.
My mom is incredibly sweet in real life, so I have no clue what this was about, but like I said, it was freaky.

In this dream, I was running around the house, and I ran upstairs. A guy who looked exactly like a Nazgul then promptly shot me with a gun. I woke up drenched in sweat. I didn't sleep at all that night. And I have no idea why. The dream wasn't particularly scary or anything. :/
And now I wish to live in a house on a hill that has stairs that go down to the bottom of the hill and has a half-open glass greenhouse or whatever down there. With several carpets and clouds. And there is no roof for the glass part of it.

Are you sure you weren't playing Minecraft instead?
I had a dream about wasps coming down from the sky, they could shoot they're stingers. The rest of the dream was spent watching the wasps going around killing people.

Feel free to share a strange dream as well.
I once dreamed that T-Shirts and blankets began attacking people with fire.
It was rather weird. :/
Since when are dreams NOT weird?
Even if a dream isn't strange, it's strange because it's not strange. Do you get me?
But for the sake of discussion, I'll post my experience:
One time I had a dream of my OC (see avatar for reference) portrayed as an anime character doing anime things.
I just found it very strange.

One night, I dreamt that I was riding a chopper from Halo 3 on the top of a skyscraper. I fell off and was hurtling towards the ground when I woke up.
This sounds like an action-drama movie with aliens in it...
I'd definitely see it to be honest.

What I dream about would get me banned from this website.

Yes, that was freaky. I do like flying in dreams though. I've become an expert at it.

My strange dream is that I came to the utopia out of nowhere and no one is there and nothing but the monsters are coming to haunt me.
Not much of a utopia is it then?
i dream of dumb stuff and dumb stuff only
like clouds or carpets or half-open glass houses
or literally nothing
And now I wish to live in a house on a hill that has stairs that go down to the bottom of the hill and has a half-open glass greenhouse or whatever down there. With several carpets and clouds. And there is no roof for the glass part of it.
