Hello, I'm GreyBacon and after a bit of crafting mines, I've finally gotten around to an introduction.
I'm a U.S. student who found out about minecraft through the VGCats comic and instantly became addicted.
Once I learned about about the ability to make skins, I found a new favorite hobby (despite my inability to draw) and hope to become better at it with time.
I'm also a big fan of the older games, especially those of the snes.
I'm Tennist0_2, I've really been on the forums since the first indev came out, but I had a problem on the old account that was fixed briefly then reverted back to broken, so I ditched and now I'm a newbie again.

Guys, you have made it entirely ridiculous to find the introduction thread.
I was sorting through random threads, confusing board layouts, and a relatively useless search function for about thirty minutes before finding a reasonable introduction thread.
Instead of, of course, spamming up a new thread like the Noob we all know I am.
In addition, it looks like there aren't any regulars to greet me, leaving me sad and wandering for an indeterminate amount of time.

Yo. As you can probably tell from my avatar, I'm a mod from facepunch. I understand there's a lot of dumb hate between the two sites, but I can assure you I'm one of the cool guys, as anyone from the FP Minecraft threads can tell you.
I figured it to be a good idea to actually register over here and take a look around, talk to the people, and see what all's going on, mainly because the single thread we have for MC is, to say the least, random, off-topic, and you miss about 500 posts when you go out to lunch.
If anyone's interested, I host a stream (who doesn't, though) at livestream.com/daisdedicated, where many laughs are to be had. I'm not online this instant, but I try to update my twitter (@daijitsu) when I'll be streaming, and what.
Hopefully I'll post a bunch in the coming future on this site, but for now I've got some business to attend to so ya won't see much of me.
