Like, here's what I mean. Like, you go to a new place for the first time, yet. it seems familiar somehow. Like, you recognize everything, and the things that happen there you feel like have already happened before. I get that sense alot. So, out of curiosity, does anyone else get that sense of deja vu?
Yeah, all the time. Whenever it happens, I try to do something really unusual to break away from the events of the 'memory', but I can only recall it as it occurs, and I end up doing exactly what I 'remembered'.
I'd say I have deja vu all the time, but really it's more like every few weeks. Anyways, when I do have deja vu, I always end up getting confused about whether or not I actually remember those random things.
Yeah it scares me. I recently read something about Deja Vu. Some people claim that it's you simply reliving your life again. So, when you die, you relive your life again and again and again. You remember already doing this thing because you have, you have already lived that part of your life, you're just living it again.
Obviously that theory isn't 100% believable, but it makes sense to me.
That's quite interesting. If that was true, then I assume your memory would be erased or something when you die, but some would still be kept, but only spots of it would be able to be recollected. I say that because I have some "memory" of stuff that didn't even happen yet, but, it's really faint, and only pieces remain.
The amount of deja vu I experience on a regular basis is ridiculous.
I'm under the impression that I might be living the world's most boring and predictable life!

Ah yes, at random moments I get that feeling. The feeling that you've been through that moment of time before; what you're seeing, hearing, etc you felt as if you've experienced that before. Freaky stuff.
I like to believe that we live in a world filled with countless realities, ones that are completely unlike the one we live in as well as ones that are exactly the same excluding one minor difference in detail. When we are done learning what this reality has to offer us, we are either birthed into a new body in a different reality or birthed into a new body in the same reality; offering us different perspectives and learning experiences.
Since there are realities that are almost exactly the same except for this one detail - for example, something as small as there being one extra atom building up the fabric of our universe or a dust particle that flew in your window instead of falling on the ground just outside of your window - we will no doubt relive identical or similar experiences that we have been through in a previous life, in our current and future lives. We are never truly done learning.
I've had deja vu. In almost every situation of deja vu, I realized that I thought of a situation almost identical to the moment before it actually happened and came up with a plan or witty comeback, then I acted accordingly. Most of the time they're predictable, but once in a while something happens where odd situations I thought of actually came into existence.

A dust particle can't just "decide" to go one way instead of the other. You have to think about the laws of physics and cause and effect. If one molecule was moved even 1 um, it could drastically effect the outcome of the future, causing both universes to be completely different, weather some time in the distant future (moving a water molecule) or nearly instantly (moving a molecule in a nuclear reactor), and therefor, both realities could not be anywhere near exactly the same.
But yes, I have felt deju vu before, it is very strange.

The dust particle moving towards the window could have been caused by Bob blowing in the wind. In reality A1 (our reality) Bob blows with a certain amount of force that causes the dust particle to move through the window. In reality B2 (alternate reality) Bob blows for a slightly shorter period of time with a weaker force, causing the dust particle to land on the ground. Bob isn't affected in anyway after he blew in the wind in both realities, and he continues with his day.
The dust particle on the other hand could either affect the outcome of the future drastically or hardly at all. The key word here is could. This means that it can either affect the future of reality B2 on such a small scale that it doesn't change anything else in that reality or on such a large scale that it causes a chain of events that leads to WWIII. It all depends on what other variables have changed and what variables will be changed due to this particle.
In reality B2 the only variable that was changed was the amount of force that Bob used to blow in the wind which has affected nothing but that one dust particle, and where this dust particle lands only affects such a minor amount of things that it doesn't change the interactions between us humans and the environment around us as well as the environment itself in the long-run. This would result in a reality that is exactly the same as ours up until that point in time when Bob blew in the wind with a different force that affected where the dust particle traveled, but where the dust particle traveled didn't change anything significant in the long-run; making the reality extremely similar but not exactly the same.
This is assuming that there is a single dust particle in the air however but even if there were multiple dust particles affected by the change in force of Bob blowing in the wind, these too could also be affected in such a way that they don't do anything significant to change the course of that reality in the long-run. The question isn't if it could affect the outcome of the future, it is how significant the affect has on the future and whether or not other variables are changed by this or if new variables will arise.
In my initial post; which I admit was pretty vague; I was specifically talking about a reality that is exactly the same as ours up until a certain point in time, and when that point in time occurred it had a extremely minor influence on the rest of the time-line; the only influence being on the dust particle. The thing is, we don't know what will occur at any time in the future. For all I know, that dust particle could end up causing a chain of events that makes that reality completely different than ours; but it is still exactly like ours until that point in time comes when Bob blows in the wind - where it then becomes almost exactly the same except for a few insignificant things that do not alter how we interact with the world around us. A dust mite might have to go with one less dust particle on it's plate, but assuming that there is still an overabundance of dust for the dust mites to eat then it will hardly affect them in a way that still results in no significant impact on the world around us.
I experience Deja Vu pretty often. Sometimes it's so specific too, to where I am having a conversation with someone and I suddenly feel like I have had the conversation before to the word. It gets creepier when the other person says the exact thing I remember.
There has been a few times I have predicted something based on Deja Vu, but obviously not in some supernatural future seeing type way. It's weird. I don't know much about it, but I assume most people experience at one time or another.
The most recent one I can remember was about a month ago. I was walking in the courtyard above the Louvre Museum in Paris and suddenly I got deja vu like I had been in the exact same time before (even though this was my first time in Europe).
Less and less these days. It seems to happen in teenagers and young adults more often and tapers off as you get older. It's a really trippy experience when your brain malfunctions.
Maybe you played rhythm thief or it's demo before once?
Nope, haven't heard of that. But this situation has happened before with video games now that you mention it. Like I'm playing a game and will get deja vu or remember a dream that I had where I had already done the exact same thing in the game (that I had never actually done before)
I've been using it for 10 years so it's the one I think of first when I think of quick image hosting. I think it's just loading slow because I forgot to tell it to resize when I uploaded the screenshot.

The movie Deja Vu was really good. <3 Denzel
