So I never typically shop at thrift stores, bargain outlets, or garage sales, but I just might start. Today I was walking down the street and I had to literally double take and walk back to look into a shop's window. There it was, the iconic Mario starring me in the face. I'm a huge video game fanatic, and I just had to have whatever it was. I nabbed the wooden contraption and hurried home. I found out that it is a Vintage NES Lazy Susan that is somewhat rare. It's worth a lot more than I paid for it and I was quite surprised, nothing like this ever happened to me before. After giving it a good scrubbing I decided that I'm keeping it for now. I'm not sure if I want to keep it as-is or if I want to paint it glossy white and color mario in. Thought I'd share this story. Anyone else have a similar tale?

"That average looking guy with glasses... He kinda looks exactly like Ted..."
I bought WW2 Nazi helmet for 30 euros... If you don't know they are worth quite a bit, so it was a good buy. I eventually ended up donating it to a school for a charity drive. Needless to say, I was the only one donating Nazi stuff. People actually thought I was cool, a completely different reaction than what I initially expected. A year later I ended up donating some Allied tools, also used in WW2. Hope you enjoyed my story! Cheers!
