Every time I open steam it says "steam needs to be online to update. Please confirm your network connection and try again." I have a windows 7 custom build PC with a MSI motherboard, 16 GB of ram, a 111 GB SSD as my main C drive and a secondary 1 TB regular hard drive, and a Nvidia GeForce Graphics card. I am also using a Verizon router connected by an Ethernet cable. Steam used to work in my old condo but in this new place it will not work.(Connecting to the internet in Google Chrome is just fine.) I have added steam to my firewall, updated all of my drivers correctly, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling steam, and I have tried deleting all of the files in the steam folder except for steam.exe. Other games like Minecraft work on the internet but nothing steam related will connect to my network. What do I do now?
