For a few main reasons, first of all it's a bit less expensive, PC gaming doesn't have to be expensive but in order to have a better time with it you have to throw down a few pennies. Second, the social aspect of it. Most of my friends are on X-Box, I only have 1 PC-gaming friend. Finally, computers can be complicated, it seems like I am always running in to issues with my computer.
If I had the money to build my own computer, I would.
Plus consoles are easy to mod, some guy has already figured out a jtag xbox one but he won't release how until he changes it a bit. So it's not much of a difference
Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
You can build a PC for the same price, and have it be just as if or not more powerful.
Also games are cheaper on PC, plus you don't have to pay for PSN or XBL.
You could probably build a PC these days that would be equivalent to an Xbox 360 or a PS3, but if you want something like an Xbox One, you're probably going to have to spend nearly double. Good video cards alone can cost upwards of $200.
I like consoles for the exclusives and because I can kick back on the couch and play without any notifications interrupting me. And easier to use a controller.
Though PC tends to have better graphics and even more exclusives, online play is usually free (as opposed to Xbox Live) so using it as a social experience is much easier.

I prefer console because I realey don't want to have to learn about pcs in order to build a custom gaming pc I had a forum about a good pc and almost every one said build a pc. gaming pcs tend to need work done on them this does not appeal to a large portion of gamers who just want just buy a game system and be done with it. Another reason is pcs have 83% more hackers and Modder's on games than xbox 360 and ps3 had put together. A serious reason is on pc game were you can create complexly custom character such as "minecraft" and "garrys mod" people tend to create character like kkk members Hitler and Osmond Binlaten. And my last reason is kids don't tend to have credit-debit card which [only to applies to non free games] is required for all online purchases which most kids do not have and a lot of parents wont let there kids buy stuff online and or play online games as they may cause your computer to get hacked even if its just skyrim why because parents don't know crap about computers [pardon my French] or what websites are safe or unsafe.
actually I have a few more reason consoles are more portable than MOST pcs, [not counting laptops] you can take an xbox over an friends house but most people probably wont take the whole computer over a friends house which lead to my next reason spit screen most pc games [over 90%] pc games don't have split screen compatibility like on consoles and one being minecraft which is spit screen on xbox [not counting the stupid required hd thing] but not pc which is I a major deterrent for kids with younger siblings
https://docs.google....5XQbg74_8M/edit A list of all the PC exclusives. But honestly the next gen consoles are quite disappointing, remember when a new console would come out and they would show all these fun games without the *****************.
Why does it only include one of the Space Quest game?
