While I never played it myself at the time, I used to love watching my older brothers play it. Nowadays, Animal Crossing is one of my favorite franchises.
Kingdom Hearts (both parts), I just got the HD remake and boy I was having goosebumps! Love the game series can't wait for the third one. Yeah this and FF X and X-2 (yeah yeah even X-2. I love it, I am fangirl what can I do?) Just hearing the music makes me shiver! Great games! Probably some other games as well, but these are the one I can think of right now.
Animal crossing: Wild world was a very nostalgic one for me as it was the "big thing" at my school and I had some very fun memories of playing local multiplayer with a group of friends. Everyone always came to me for bells as I was amazing at ACWW and I gained some popularity back then, when people played DS. *sigh* the good old days.
I remember playing that game we still have it but I couldn't get over the fact that you had to Errph help other people with the debt. My goal was to get my debt repaid off the first after Population Growing but it seems I couldn't ;-;
3. Super Mario 64. I never beat the game in 14 years...
1. Animal Crossing (GC). I remember playing that game begging my brother for the cheats to the turnip codes (I never new how to use internets at the time) Trying to pay my debt 1000 bells a time, getting mad when my brother got the golden statue.
2. Pikmin 2. I used to play it then quit then I remembered on how trying to figure out how to drain the water in Wistful Wild then I got into it again for a while.

The Halo Series, or Halo 3 in particular. I have so many memories with the single player. To many, this may seem like a lame choice. But, Halo is the first series I played competitively. I have so MANY memories with the multiplayer and the people i've met over the years! Sadly, the Halo 4 multiplayer is horribly designed and competitive gaming on H4 is over. I can only look back remember the good ol' times.
Halo 2. I have been gaming for several years before I got it, but I just had my best and most memorable moments in gaming playing it.
TIWNZYS!
But, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas wins me over. I just remember watching my sister play it over and over again, getting cheats from Gamespy. Ah the good ol' days.
I really thought that Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Sonic Geneations werenostalgicas hell. Especially that Whomp's Fortress level in SMG2. I usually see games giving me some sort of nostalgic feeling when I hear music I really enjoyed from a different game in the series or if it has similar level design, like every level in Sonic Generations.

Probably has to be Myst at number 1, I was fully aware about video games but really got into Myst (And the guide book thank god!)
Another one that was introduced to me by my dad was SimCity2000 and then later on SimCity 4. Complety agree with the OP here music was great.
Other then that a lot of other Sim games.
Then Minecraft Beta. I love loading up my world and exploring the old area's. This is a whole new level of Nostalgia since I did it. I can go over everything I've done and go: wow.
Hmmm....I have multiple games that do this, but I'd say the one that does it the most is Yoshi's Island.
I played that game before I could read.

My avatar-Madison Gotha. She knows various weapons, she's a mage/sage, and is somewhat immortal. Madison has the capability of taming and communicating monsters, a genetic trait passed down by her father. 26 physically, 1400-something mentally, and a Lofty Peakian/Zenithian mix. Doesn't really like being called an elf and hates being called human..
I might be Moderator, but don't bother treating me too special. And don't make tons of Ban Hammer jokes, please. Also, I'm an Off-Topic only Mod. Don't ask me to lock a thread or something if it's not in the off-topic
