Those games PETA makes are effing disturbing. Probably would give those Ghost Black and Lost Silver games (you know, those ones in the creepypastas) a run for their money.
On another note, why doesn't Nintendo sue these people? Aside from the more obvious factors, there likely isn't a copyright notice anywhere on the webpage. (Didn't see one on the Mario one, anyways.) They'd probably win if they brought the case to court.

"Science isn't a matter of WHY, it's a matter of WHY NOT? WHY is so much of our science dangerous? Why don't you marry safe science if you love it so much? In fact, why don't you invent a special safety door that won't slam you in the butt on your way out? BECAUSE YOU ARE FIRED!" -Cave Johnson

Eh, its parody and thus likely falls under fair use. PETA is a political group advocating better treatment of animals; they often goes for shock value in their ad campaigns, though they often take it to the point of ridiculousness. Thus they come across as loonies, which is a shame since animal abuse is a serious issue that should be addressed and could be if animal rights activists were taken seriously. PETA is its own worst enemy.
They will attack anything if they have free time same applies to many other groups that are focused on various subjects... yes you could in fact say that Pokemon is literally animal fighting and animal cruelty in concept. You capture a wild animal (pokemon), keep it in a dark small enclosed space (pokeball), you put them in a pit with another animal to fight(battleground/gym/etc), you then gamble on the fight (if you win you get money if you loose you loose money), then repeat.
I do not support animal cruelty in any circumstance I love animals but things that base their "views" on fictional worlds from all types of media and say it "promotes" the wrong kind of behavior for the person that is utilizing that media. Is just just a strawman argument that cannot be proved or held accounted for.
Peta is just a bunch of bullies they only go after things they can get money off of. It's only a matter of time before they find Minecraftia and go after it.
