You got to start thinking realistically, these are big companies we're talking about. To be honest it's nice of them to make an official version and bring it to consoles players at all, I've tried the build your own home mod for the PC version, but from what I've seen this looks like it will offer quite a bit more than that at least, e.g more houses to build, adoption, activities etc. Of course it totally stole the idea, but the idea wasn't exactly ground breaking in the first place, as in many people have probably thought of the idea already, I suppose I just feel bad for the guy who made it, seems like slightly wasted effort when they're just going to use his mod idea officially.
It'd be nice of them to actually release it for ps3 players lol
but I guess I'll be testing out this DLC in a month for my PC.
Well, I just got it a few days ago and everybody, this is totally worth the $5! It's really fun, and you can build three different houses, not just one! The only downside is you have to build bedrooms if you want to adopt children, even though the main hall has two beds and a double bed.
$5 is less than a lunch. I don't see why anyone would complain over this DLC. It's certainly no horse armor.
That being said, it doesn't really interest me personally. A game like Minecraft is about building yourself a home, or a city. Skyrim is about exploration and adventure. Home building seems to set up a lot of tension between these themes. At least for me. No doubt others will enjoy this greatly.
Me too, it's really fun to customize your house any way you want it And it feels better knowing you built a house from the ground up instead of buying it.
A better deal would just be to get the free mod that this addon is stealing from.
But some people are console players. Some cant afford gaming computers and such.

They can certainly afford to dish out half a hundred bucks per year for online services that should be free and a bunch of stupid crap.
