My Choices
Final Fantasy X - Blitzball FTW! plus i love the story.
Minecraft - Never lag! Do anything i want get away with it, be immortal.
.Hack// - not "The World" but planet earth where the game has already been created. Virtual Reality FTW! Data Drain BOO!
Gmod- Self Explanatory
A game with dimension hopping so i can jump from one game to another.
No Monster Girl quest yet? FOR SHAME.
I would just power through till Tamamo, and then lose on purpose. (But where will I learn demon decapitation?)
I might choose to live in the Katawa Shoujo universe, only if I could be sent to that school, because it's so sad and interesting to see those events unfold.
I would probably regret it later, but meh.
Mass Effect universe would be amazing if you didn't have knowledge of an impending Reaper attack. And I don't think I would be the kind of person to not trust Commander Shepherd.
Skyrim has a ton of dragons and war all over the place, so no.
The world of Portal would be depressing. I would contemplate suicide alot more often then I usually do. Which isn't often.
Fallout would be tough to just be thrown into from a world like this one.
Minecraft:
It would be terrible, since you have to stop monsters from killing you every night.
Fallout:
It would be difficult. Since you'll need to find food, water and weapons every day. It's going to be hard.
Bioshock:
You'll have to deal with splicers and big daddies every now and then. It's going to be rough.
Grand Theft Auto Universe (GTA, Manhunt and State of Emergency):
With the high crime rate, I don't think I'll last very long. Especially if I'm a criminal myself.
Max Payne:
Same with GTA. The high crime rate is dangerous. But bullet time is nice.
Happy Wheels:
Painful and rough. No.
Half-Life Universe (Half Life and Portal):
Ehh... this universe is quite depressing as a matter of fact. So no.
Garry's Mod:
It would be nice until I get extremely bored.
SSX:
It would be cool to snowboard on dangerous places. Well... until I break a leg. Literally.
Assassin's Creed:
It would be nice to be an assassin, although it will be very tiring.
Probably TESO, but if it has to be released game then Arena. It would be basically the same, wouldn't it?

No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...
If I had to be in a video game for ever I would chose to be in the Kingdom of Loathing. It has such great areas, such great humour, such great balance, friendly people. And new content is added very regularly so I shouldn't get bored. And there's food to eat and booze to imbibe, and almost nothing ever dies.
OT: Narrowed the choices to Batman Arkham City and Half Life 2. Which should I choose?
I mean in terms of world, I'm well aware the story of both is completely different.

I want to be trapped in monster hunter portable 3rd with a english hack. All day doing nothing but hunting bad ass monsters more than 20 times my size with 6 foot long swords and hammers with ends the size of freaking boulders!

Would love to live in Gensokyo
Why? Being a Pokemon is AWESOME.
Plus, new places are discovered left and right.

Think of all the tales of mudcrabs and how awful they are!

I guess Pre-Catastrophe Rapture from Bioshock.
