Selling weapons to stupid people is my favorite way to get some metal.
Some people will pay a lot for a useless strange. It takes time finding people like that, but it pays off in the end.
Also, when you get keys, keep them. I got keys when they were like 3.66 each, and now they are worth 6 refined.
TF2 trading always changes though, so you just have to adapt.
