The Town , Is a FPS zombie shooting game (Currently in development).
Story: You wake up as any other normal day to step outside of your house and grab the morning newspaper , then you see zombies roaming the streets of Townsville.
Objective: there's 24 minutes in a day cycle and 24 minutes in a nighttime cycle , during the day you roam the streets finding a place to defend as your base, gathering supplies to defend yourself and improve your base.
Multiplayer: In the multiplayer mode you will be able to team up , or fight each other for supplies scattered around Townsville, with massive sized maps ( take 15 minutes ) to walk from one side to the next)
Release: Mid/Late 2012
Consoles: PC , (then if we get alot of attention we will expand to iOS , PS3 , And Xbox360.

And yes that's exactly what I plan to do , as far as I know there is no other zombie games that are alike to what I've got In mind.
This sounds like a great idea, I would love to test this, from what I can see from the screenshots this is pretty much the alpha of the game, if you could make your houses also a little battered as well, then upgrade it with patches in the house, and also maybe turrets on the houses.

thanks for the idea :smile.gif: , yeah this is basically an alpha EXCEPT there's only two houses in the game (still got to complete a town) but when I make a little bit more progress with the custom "barricading the houses" I will release it as a demo , but for me to continue working on this I need to know that more people are going to be Interested! So tell your friends and I'll try to make a banner shortly for the supporters to place In there Sigs (:
Is the game going to be based around surviving, stealth, and actual tactics, and not killing everything in sight and being as loud as possible (L4D)? If, so, that's exactly what I've been looking for. I'd love to test the game out. :happy.gif:
I just think the idea of having to go around with little ammo, finding whatever provisions you can to try and survive, while every time you want to sleep (actual sleep system, can't stay up forever (L4D)), you'd have to barricade a house or something. I think making it as realistic as possible would be great.
If you do intend on making it that way, I would suggest reading through the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks (if you haven't already) for some great ideas. :biggrin.gif:
I think this would be fun to play. I've been looking for a game like this for awhile. I love the idea of a zombie apocalypse and you actually have to try and survive. Could I perhaps test it?

Also I think you should base it off The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, like mentioned in another comment before. http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/page/The+Zombie+Survival+Guide+-+Max+Brooks You can read the entire guide here. You can completely base it off this, or just use it for inspiration, or just have some stuff from it and make up the rest. Also I think you should add some missions to the game, and also a thirst, hunger, and sleep system. Maybe you could find survivors and team up with them? I want this to feel more like you're trying to survive rather than trying to mow down as many zombies as you can. But overall great idea for a game

Sounds like day Z but you can build things to me.
Which is the one thing I want in dayZ I wanna try this.
You should make guns hard to come by like in dead island but make them really powerful and ammo rare.
Make melee weapons powerful as well.
Need food and drink to survive.
Bikes and such.

-Road system almost complete.
-Shooting
-Landscape
-Fancy scripts to make the game run faster (minimum specs at the moment: 1gig RAM)
Before first release:
-Ability to pickup weapons/supplies/wood/objects
-Zombies (of course..)
-More houses

I want some realism too.
Add things like:
-Food/Water/Sleep needs
-Salvage options (For building, ammo, weapons, etc)
-Improvised Weaponry (I don't want to have a ton of military grade weapons at start.)
-Large, open worlds.
-Objectives to make the game fun. (Save the child, Fortify a house, etc)
