Depending on what platform, PC, definitely, PS3 and X360, yes but I'd highly recommend if you are getting BF3, get for the PC (64 players, hell yeah!).

I have BF3. And still, that is the single greatest thing ive ever seen.
Although the sandbox mods for BF2 made some interesting things you could do with the jets.
