The fact your the first to even make mention of that masterpiece that I have seen other than myself makes you awesome. x] I do agree, I wouldnt mind seeing that redone.
The original metal gear I feel it could be revamped for PS3 with no issues, as long as they kept the main story and just updated graphics and controls. Granted I do admit when they remake games they need to change or add a few things or else its not worth buying to most people. Legend of Dragoon as well.
So glad there is someone with enough class here to agree with me. I think any SNES game should be remade they were all pretty awesome.
And even though are pretty recent I would really like to see the pheonix wright games remade with voices that would be awesome.
I'd love to see a HD remake of populous 3, now that would be AWESOME also I think remakes of classic Sega masterdrive games would be cool... like the wonderboy series, alex the kid. ahhhh goood memories with sega games :smile.gif:
I think one of the better remakes was Metroid Zero. I would love to see them remake the original Metal Gear for NES in the style of Metroid Zero. Give players an idea of where to go, and please PLEASE don't make us try and select 1 of 7 keycards every time we come to a door. Off topic abit but the NES version of Metal Gear was not the original version of the game. They released the original Metal Gear on a Japanese computer system and it was more like the newer Metal Gear games where stealth was a main gameplay element. The original creator of Metal Gear was unhappy with the NES port as it was watered down from the original game and alot of the stealth element was removed.
Not so much a remake but they should add MegaMan The Wily Wars to Xbox Arcade or Wii Shop. For those who don't know about it this was a Sega Megadrive remix of the original 3 Megaman games with save game support, better sound, and better graphics. It also had a bonus stage after you beat all 3 games that allowed you to pick any 8 powers from the original 3 Mega Man games and fight 3 (maybe 4) new bosses. The game was only released in the UK and Japan and it is very rare (about $150 or more to buy it, if you can even find it). It is another good example of a well made remake.
not really.... they just seem to be changing the maps and weapons, they barely update the graphics eother, BF3 came out before it and its graphics could knock MW3 out of existance :tongue.gif:

Saying that MW3 is not a true sequel is rediculous and makes you look like a troll or BF3 fanboy. This is almost saying that any sequel could have been DLC unless they almost change the genre. Of course the sequel should play like the original. Oh and I hear nobody complain that sports games tend to be just an updated schedule with like one new feature. Coincidence much? I don't think so
I want LucasArts to continue with the development of Star Wars: Battlefront III, if not that then I want them to remake Star Wars: Battlefront II with better graphics and gameplay mechanics.
I would love a Tower game that combines the best features of both The Tower (SimTower) and The Tower 2 (Yoot Tower). Maybe one where the player can decide on different locations and occupant types (both changing appearances). Having 3 lobby heights would also be good though it would be even better with the addition of mezzanine floors (for party halls, ballrooms, event centers, shops, and other stuff). It would also be good if it had larger graphics and better zooming, and even better if you could go 3D.
If the tower is 3D, then click and drag should build rooms of the same type in a perfect row and there should be "zonable" occupant areas (cubicles, shop pavilions with kiosks, etc) and lobby style walkways were sims cannot navigate through floors completely covered with rooms with no hallways (just like sims need roads between blocks of buildings) and that nicer hallways lower stress/increase happiness and lower noise pollution for rooms that were negatively affected by it in Yoot Tower. Empty space is cheap and already there (called floor in original games), cheap hallways with cement floors and painted walls giving a minuscule boost to stress with none on noise, tiled hallway providing a better boost for both, cheap carpet with wallpaper offiring the same stress boost as tile but big boost for noise, fancy hallway being third best, mezzanine second best and sky lobby best (equal to 1 story lobby though 2 story lobby is twice as good).
Sky bridges (pedestrian overpasses) should also be possible but fancy (stress reducing) sky bridges would only be available every 15 floors (which would be equal in comfort and noise dampening as sky lobbies) with the cheaper one being equivalent to carpeted hall.
Whoever made those hd graphics is amazing!
