People dissing the CoD franchise because it is not innovative. Activision is forcing their cash cow to spit another game out every year, what the hell do you expect. Battlefield 3 for example is a sequel to a game that came 6 years before. Call of Duty 4 is probably the most innovative game in recent game history, it has influenced a lot of franchises, including Battlefield.

You class your PS3 as a superior platform than anything but you said you hate it when people do that, I smell a fish (Fish being hypocritical)
You say that the game 'uncharted 2' has a better story line than halo when you have never played all the games and never embraced it's lore, this is called an opinion or in your eyes "a fact".
You then try to back up your argument with "Graphics are the best", do not say you don't as you will not back down about 60fps...
Every platform have advantages and disadvantages, PC have thousands of thousands of indie games, Xbox get DLC's first, PS3's have free online play.
As we all state, please back up your augments that is not opinion based or hypocritical answers.
I think this argument is over, KM still hasn't answered my last post.

No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...
"Destroying our economy!
Minecraft teaches children that you can create your own tools by combining ingredients instead of the American way of ordering online or going to Walmart. It teaches children they can farm their own food instead of teaching them the American way of going to McDonald's. It teaches them to waste huge amounts of time on making their own buildings instead of the American way of buying a house with borrowed money! It teaches children to be creative instead of watching commercials on television! All this clearly damages and ultimately destroys the American economy! It can be no coincidence that this game was created while Obama is in office!"
That is taken from a website linked above, i though he was joking, when i noticed that he was serious i have started to think why do the drugs exist

In the Guinness World Records Gamer Edition, it says that Legend of Zelda OoT is hard than Dark Souls because once you beat it you have to play it in reverse. ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME.
When people say "CoD sucks ballzz lulz " without even playing the game
i don't really like CoD.......BUT I AT LEAST PLAYED THE GODDAMN GAME!!!
CoD isn't that bad though
To accurately place CoD as good or bad, it's average. It's fun to play but isn't that impressive graphically, plot-wise and isn't at all revolutionary.

CoD4 was quite revolutionary, perks, custom classes and killstreaks was used in quite a lot of other games, such as Crysis 2.

I think you may have been thinking I hate Nintendo but no. Nintnedo are EPIC!!!
Sony sucks, apple dosn't do anything and Microsoft's cool too.
Each company (along with various others) has contributed to the gaming industry. Microsoft created the PC and the Xbox, Apple revolutionised hand-helds by making the phone, Ipod and game device into one device, Nintendo constantly tries (and sometimes fails) to make innovative new consoles and Sony... I'm not sure actually, could someone tell me what Sony revolutionised?

You know, I have to agree with you there. Sony hasn't done any revolutions. They make some fairly high quality stuff, but no revolutions.
You could argue Nintendo has revolutionised the game industry quite easily, what with the original Super Mario Bros creating so many platforming staples as well as the Legend of Zelda games doing much the same for adventure games, and OoT added auto-jumping and a lock-on system to games.

Yes, though some of Nintendo's recent stuff (most notably the wii) has been fairly gimmicky, they did a lot of amazing and influential stuff during the early days of gaming.

I have been reading this thread for about an hour - I refuse to believe anyone can be that stupid, and I am trying to read up until they confess that it is all a troll
The website is a satirical website, they aren't really that stupid, that's just how the website works, this has been mentioned at least twice now.

I think the stupidest thing I have ever heard about video games is that gaming is a sport such as MLG. I'm sorry but twiddling your thumbs is not a sport.

As much as I hate Nintendo you at least have to give them credit for saving the video game industry in the 80's.
