It's like cookie clicker, you kinda gotta wait a lot. (fun fact, cookie clicker was inspired by candy box 1) It get's interesting after a while though. Also everything is in ascii art.
And be warned, you have to manually turn on auto save and it only does so every 10 minutes.
In this game, you build a robot that can drive, hover, or fly and then arm it with lasers. The physics is pretty sophisticated (if you build a top-heavy robot, it will be more likely to flip over) and fun to play with in its own right, but then you get to battle other players who have also built fighting robots. It is in alpha but is pretty polished for its current development phase. It is free to play, but buying premium membership doesn't give you an advantage in combat, it only increases experience and in-game currency gain.
Now's a great time to join as the devs are about to add armor cubes and two new weapon types! It has recently been optimized and it runs great even on my older computers. If you've even been playing Minecraft and thought, "Needs moar lasers" then you should give it a try. This is an honest review of the game from a person who simply plays and enjoys it. I don't receive any kind of perks for doing this other than growing the community and supporting an independent game developer that is doing great work.
Unless you have an older system, plus... the online games are slower than the emulated games you play.
Sure if you got an older system with all the thousands of games laying around then go for that. If you don't then this free website is a great option.
They do not run slower. If you find one that does it's probably your connection or some other issue on your end. If you don't think it is feel free to post about it in the support section and they'll take a look at it for you.
I'm not sure why you're so against a free site that will make lots of people happy, kinda weird bro.
What's better? Building sand castles of understanding and compromise that will fall to the slightest wind of change? Or will you build your beliefs with steel and remain immovable against the elements?

This little beauty is something I came across and hour ago. It's a 16-bit style sidescroller inspired by late 90's 16-bit games (Sonic 3k, Gunstar Heros etc) with an amazing soundtrack.
Sorry if this was suggested before, but I'm not reading through 16 pages.
Star Trek Online is pretty good, considering it's a free third person space MMORPG.
Steam currently has 247 hours of game time logged for me. http://community.arcgames.com/en/news/star-trek-online

Step 3: Run the ROM
Bam. Done.

How about
1. click play
2. allow necessary browser plug in
3. enjoy game
Much easier.
