I died piloting a Catapult BattleMech in the 3000's. Probably around 3050-3060, but Mechwarrior Living Legends doesn't have a specific date. I took several short range missiles straight into the cockpit directly after emptying mine into a rival Catapult's cockpit.
I'll be fighting armed refugees in Dubai while trying to find a missing squad, but thankfully it's just a virtual reality test to see if I'm qualified to join the army.

I got a cool death. I'm gonna die by a flying girl with dragon-like arms that shoots lazers at me and another flying girl that shoots tarot cards of death and giant, red yin-yang balls of doom that fly careening towards me as the dragon-like arms shoot a death lazer at me in a frozen waste land of ice. Badass.
