Pig-slapping tries to stay true to the ideas of minecraft, while changing the gameplay to reseble a cannon launching game. Much of this game is still just in my head, but hopefully with time and patience, it will become code.

okay, so heres my plan on how the finished game will be.
the game will play much as it does in the demo, only it will hopefully be a bit more polished. The main goal is to survive, but there will also be acheivements to guide the player, and an acheivement for when you have "won" the game. both the player and the pig will have health. if the pig dies (from hostile mobs or the player punching it for a boost) it will disappear, and the player will become less 'bouncy'. if the player dies, they will lose all of their reasources not stored at their house.
A majority of the game will take place on the cliff and the following field. I plan to include all mobs as well as biomes, weather, and a day/night cycle. the mobs will each have a different effect on the player. passive mobs will simply help the player, but hostile mobs will damage the player if they do not have the right tools to protect themselves.
Instead of money or points, the player will have to collect reasources (much like in minecraft) to build upgrades. every time the player bounces on the ground, they will get a dirt reasource. running into trees yeilds wood, and hitting pigs gets pork. all stone and ore reasources will be located in the air. these will not slow the player down if hit, but will only give reasources if the player has the correct level pickaxe.
After every jump, the player will return to "home base" there they will be able to make upgrades and tools. The house starts as an empty dirt field, but the player can build walls and floors of many different materials. they can also build a crafting bench, furnace, chest, bed, and many other things to help them make better upgrades. some upgrades may include but are not limited to, longer cliff, higher cliff, pickaxes, swords, shovels, axes, armor, piston powered launchers, tnt powered lanchers, boats, minecarts, and much more!
i have a demo of the game located at www.fandev.net. (it is under the link KyleKubik's game.) its a small demo, and the only controls are space bar to start and set the speed, and clicking the pig to punch it for extra height.
right now, theres not much progress since the demo. XD ive been at the beach for a week and i have had very little time to program. I will update the op with my ideas on the game so you guys can give opinions on them. ill try to have an update by next week, fer sher!
