Not because of it's horrible and annoying DLC map packets.
But the community will ruin it. The community of ALL "FPS" games (and not limited to) are terribly unsportsmens like and will call you "A shitty ass noob" at any chance they get. You will continue to try playing Multiplayer (I'm ignoring Singeplayer, cause pfft, who plays singleplayer? RAMIREZ, FETCH ME THAT PHONE, I'M TOO FAT TO MOVE) but you will constantly be berated by your teammates and other players. You will always feel like **** in the end unless you are some godly player who is doing the berating.
Unless you can fix a community, it just won't be worth of a game.
It's fine, sorry if I came off rude, too.
Believe me, I love BC2 as well.
Yea :smile.gif:
I kinda wish they would just hold off Modern Warfare 3 until they have something nice.
Then i would sink right back into call of duty, just like good ol' COD 4

I guess that's true, a army of screaming 10 year olds, trying to do 360s...
What makes me mad about the community, is that they KNOW they're doing something frustrating to other players (OMA noobtubing, commando knifing), but they keep on doing it.

If CoD ever dies, where will this 'community of cheats, noobs and idiots' go? I doubt they'll just stop playing FPSes, they'll most likely spread to other games - better games such as Battlefield or Team Fortress and essentially ruin them as well. I'd rather leave the community - well, that PORTION of the community - in the grip of Activision, than have other FPSes get overrun by them.
Onto my opinion; BlOps is a decent game IN ITSELF, but the fact that Activision has decided to release so many jarringly similar games in a short time (as well as map packs) just makes me think that this whole franchise is just about the money. Why not make all of these tweaks, maps and campaigns DLC, rather than a fully priced game?
1) Released by Respawn not Infinity Ward
2) Continued Campaign from the end of MW2.
3) Stay with 70 Levels and 10 Prestige's not 15.
4) Keep the MW2 Perks in place, move the overpowered one to red perk slot to balance out the stopping power spot.
5) Be 10x better than Black Ops and 5x better than MW2.
6) Keep the M200 for snipers.
Not because of it's horrible and annoying DLC map packets.

Theres always the mute button... When I go into a lobby, I automaticly mute everyone in there with a mic...
Brace yourselves, folks. This is going to be a post that dislikes Call of Duty.

1) Dedicated servers for ALL platforms.
Not going to happen. Let's face it, it just won't. Not for consoles, anyway.
2) BALANCED weapons.
Again, not likely to happen. Call of Duty is a game about "I bought this game before you did, therefore I have access to better equipment and weaponry than you, a new player, do. Plus, I have the additional advantage of just being more experienced at the game than you will be. I'm always going to be killing you, and there's nothing you can do about it because I know all the maps and the camping spots already."
Oh, also: Noob tubes.
3) Multiple effective counters against noobtubers.
But Call of Duty loves its grenade launchers! How dare you speak against them?! THEY ARE TEH BALANCED!
4) Breathtaking new killstreak rewards.
Great, that's all we need... more random death-from-the-sky/gods/penis-chomping attack dogs, ignore-the-objective-for-an-instant-win-button gimmicks. Killstreaks are truly a terrible idea. Yeah, it's kinda fun when you get one, but on the receiving end it's just not fun. Dying as soon as you spawn should not be "just part of the game".
5) Exclusive rewards for playing the objective.
To make objectives like flags and bombs truly worthwhile, they'd need to remove killstreaks altogether from those gametypes, or at least severely limit them to non-offensive ones (IE UAV/Spy planes and such).
7) NO overpriced mappacks.
Have you heard the phrase "gravy train" before? Now, why would they want to stop one?
My wishlist would consist of only one thing to make it at least playable.
A matchmaking system that was based on Trueskill™ rather than letting the system match a brand new player against the experienced players, which it currently does on a regular basis.
The above is just one of many reasons why Halo will always triumph over Call of Duty. The matchmaking system is far superior.

dont worry, nothing will change AT ALL. maybe a few new guns witht the same stats as the ones before it (not making a difference at all) and like 1 new perk. wepons will still be horribly unbalanced, spawns will be horrible, maps will still be overpriced and horrible. dont worry, nothing will change! therefore it should be your favorite game for the rest of your life!

They started failing at the MW1/MW2, there's no turning back now. The game's multiplayer is the hideout for 10 year old raging gamers, and people who think it's funny to **** people off by noob-tubing, or camping. If I had ONE wishlist, It'd probably be....

Warriors of Chaos!!!
Khorne, Slaanesh, Tzeentch, Nurgle - So many ways to die, so few times to do so.
1) A GOOD and COHERENT singleplayer.
2) A longer ranged multiplayer, like Bad Company 2, but a little smaller
3) Measures against douche bags who do nothing but run and shoot with sub machine guns (seriously, I hate these people more then campers, I don't even know why people hate campers, IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT FOR NOT CHECKING YOUR CORNERS, TREYARCH WHY DO YOU FOCUS SOOOO MUCH ENERGY IN MAKING SNIPING AS HARD AS POSSIBLE AND MAKE THE MAPS SO SMALL, SHIPYARD WOULD BE CONSIDERED "MEDIUM" IN BLACK OPS WHYYYYYYYY)
Sorry, lost it there.

Just re-release CoD2. It was much better than this **** we've got now.
1. Keep the killstreaks from MW2 (well, not the nuke, but the other ones), but fix them this way:
Killstreaks are based on kills, but also based on time.
Some testing would have to be done to determine the correct durations, but something like... 3 kills in 45 seconds for a 3 kill streak, 5 kills in 60 seconds, etc.
2. Either eliminate noob tubes, or make them take the place of the secondary (I wished for that in mw2 - it would have fixed the OMA problem).
My third wish isn't controlled by the developers. My third wish is that the community of players actually play the objective; my least favorite thing about mw2 was losing a game of demolition/domination/etc., and having a teammate go 40-3.
Not because of it's gameplay.
Not because of it's balancing issues.
Not because of it's horrible and annoying DLC map packets.
