Hey, I wanted to get a bit of an update regarding My N Craft.
The current download count is at 847 and it continues to grow every day!
Thanks to all who supported this, I hope you all liked playing it as much as i enjoyed making it for you all.
Nice game, did you use powerpoint alone or did you use programs like Adobe for this?
The only program I used was PowerPoint. I used PowerPoint to edit the pictures and create the scenes, all "programing" was done with things I've picked up over the years.

It's an xml for me too, and I have Office Professional Plus 2010 :/
How do I do this?
E: Sorry for the bump, but this totally deserves it.
If it wants to open with XML, try to point it to your PowerPoint application if you haven't already. If not, open PowerPoint first and open it just like any other PowerPoint document. Please let me know if you continue to have problems.
Ah that's really neat! I've seen my friend makes little games and animations in PowerPoint before, but I don't think he's made anything as big as this. This is really impressive! Keep up the good work! :biggrin.gif:
Need help on the arrow part at the start. I can not progress since I can not chose what arrow to press. I am stuck at this one part.
If you hover your mouse over the buttons they should light blue (like Minecraft). Clicking on them when they're blue will take you to the next section. If I haven't answered your question, keep in mind it is a PowerPoint, by pressing Shift + F5 you can start the slideshow on the slide you are currently viewing, so in fact, you could skip right over that.
MY N CRAFT HAS REACHED 1,000+ DOWNLOADS My N Craft has 1,003 downloads as of January 08, 2010, nearly 2 months after initial release.
My N. Craft has reached over 1,000 downloads!! Again, I want to thank all who downloaded and supported, commented and played. To see one of my games take such flight is incredible, and to see people's reaction when they play is just awesome. Thanks everyone! I'll keep you posted as My N Craft continues to grow to new heights.
Support, Post, and Play! Please enjoy your day!
And who knows, there may be a sequel if so desired, Tell me what you think!
Just wanted to mention My N Craft has gotten 1101 downloads on 1/11/11
And 1101 is 13 in binary, and 13 x 2 is 26
26 is the reverse of 62.
62 / 8 is approximatively a rough 7...
and 7 added onto 62 is 69, the current number of posts on this thread as of now
When I get the wooden pickaxe and I go to the cave thingy, I fall down and my head explodes... why is that happening?
Odd, the only way that would happen would be if the buttons lead to different slides, which they can't. Does this happen every time?
To prevent the player from running into the mines without a pickax I made a scene where you would trip and snap your neck if you went in without an ax. If this is what you're experiencing, I may have to check over it.
You should grab the ax, hear a *Woosh!* then click on the mine entrance and hear the sound of walking, where you should then be inside the mine.
After playing this, you made me open powerpoint. I hope it is safe to say that you have inspired me with your work so much I am throwing slides together to make my own! Also, I don't really need any help with it because I figured out how you made the actions and hotbar stuff. But I will make it possible to go back to the menu on death instead of pressing escape then f5. Also, my fights will be first person.
Thanks! It's really awesome to see people want to follow in my work!
Keep in mind however, as you go about your business, the reason I made death take you to the "F5 Screen" was because completed animations do no return to the state they come in, and even after animation rewinds, they can throw you for a loop in the animation sequences. It was best to restart the actual presentation, instead of toil with adding in rewinds which would not always work with slide timers.
However, I'd love to see any work you make! Please do share it with us supporters!
Many internets to the OP

Keep in mind theres a flashing black box above the fight button. Spam your little fingers on that once the fight button lights up.

Coincidence? I think not

Heaven is not a place, or a time, it is perfection.
