Bar none, my most hated game would have to be split between Pacific Storm and Star Trek Legacy.
Both games had excellent potential, but the execution was terrible, Legacy was basically a crappy Xbox port, they didn't even allow you to reconfigure the controls to better suit the keyboard. I kid you not when I say that the key layout literally mirrored the functionality of a thumb stick. Think WASD and arrows with multiple modifiers.
Pacific Storm looked like an excellent RTS focusing on naval warfare, after playing I can honestly say that it is not. Bar the fact that the Grand Campaign is a clunky sludge, the SINGLE music track looping endlessly, or the lack of any real strategy whatsoever. The game was advertised as a strategy Fps hybrid, yeah right, all you can control on a BB is are something like 4 quad 40's and twin 20's. Though I do give it thumbs for pretty Flak.
With regards to the cheap promotional games, I remember as a kid that the two best games of my youth were based off of the Atlantis the lost empire films and distributed by Kellogs, IN the boxes, no need for mail ins :biggrin.gif:
I hated it so much, you would die 10 times before you complete a level. And it was to easy to delete the game, I deleted it about 4 times and had to beat it again, it's probably the game I hate most. Oh and every movie based video games are bad, without Golden eye ect.

That had to be one of my least favorite games. In fact, it's probably the worst. The beginning missions, even on the easiest setting, are much too difficult.
And no, I'm not saying "i haet dis gaem cuz itz hard". There's a difference between that, and making it seem like you were dropped right in the middle of the most difficult part of the game. I felt like I didn't have nearly enough to time to actually learn the controls, and actually know what the hell is going on.
Well since getting the internet I haven't bought a game that I didn't somewhat like except for one case. I was an absolute fan boy of the Breath of Fire series so I picked up Dragon Quarter. I never have hated a game more. Save tokens, limited save areas, and a time limit for the entire game which could be spent to do more powerful attacks. I always was too worried about wasting time and dieing a few feet from save points to enjoy the game.
It is indeed the "ULTIMATE VIDEO GAME CHALLENGE" Can you beat all 52 of the most crappy, Glitchiest, And unfinished games ever?! First place winner gets a cookie!
Civilization 5, Modern Warfare 2, and Starcraft are listed as shitty games at this point. I don't think I'll ever listen to review from this community. This makes me almost hate Minecraft.
I'm not a hater kind of guy... Maybe dislike as in "liked it less than it's predecessors/successors/genre partners" kind of way. I just haven't played any game terrible enough to hate. Anything kind of amused or entertained me in a way.
Modern Warfare 2? Awesome single player (MP nice too)
Spore (It wasn't what people wanted it to be but a bit of what it hoped to become)
APB (it was a failure, but cruisin and killin in your own threads WAS kind of nice)
World of Warcraft (f**k the Hatedumb, it IS a nice game)
Need For Speed Undercover (More shallow, dull and arcade-y than it's predecessors, but still not bad
Pac Man for Atari 2600 (If you play a game at very young age you are bound to grow fond of it despite popular opinion)
Cities XL (Blocky with a online game failure, but I liked the road laying system and overall looks)
and the list goes on and on...
No matter what game I think of that I played.
I can't hate games
I love them ó__ò

And like the baseless fabric of this vision, the cloud-capped towers, the gorgeous palaces, the solemn temples, the giant Screen itself, all of which we inherit shall dissolve. And, like an insubstantial pageant faded, leave not a byte behind.
I wouldn't say MW2 warranted any hate from me, but I was a little dissapointed with it. As for games I hate? Sonic heroes was way overrated in my opinion. It was okay for one play through of "Team Sonic's" story, but after that it got severely tedious for me. Not to mention they brought Shadow back. Shadow was actually okay in SA2 in my opinion, but he should have stayed dead. Hell, I would've been happy if that turned out to just be a copy of Shadow or something, but the next game I hate pretty much confirmed it's the same Shadow.
Shadow the hedgehog, the worst piece of **** in gaming history in my opinion. The engine was obvious just copied from heroes, the guns and vehicles were dumb as hell, the levels were tedious. The only good thing I can give it that the Ark level looked kinda cool, and stealing the Eggpawn's guns were kinda neat. I could go on for hours why I hate this game but I won't.
The Sonic games really do seem to be going downhill, and for the record I kinda liked Sonic '06. It was a little glitchy, but dammit it's the closest thing to Sonic Adventure we've seen in a while. I just wish Sonic Team would've actually TRIED with that game, it could've been so much better. The story did suck though. [/fanboyrant]
I also wasn't amazingly fond of the Megaman X games, though I didn't hate them (Except X3.) But maybe that's because I liked the original series so much.
While it's not shitty at all, it is the most difficult game I've ever played (which is kind of the point). You really can't restore health at all, there's only one save point, you really aren't told where to go which I don't mind so much except that there are many dead ends, each with dire consequences for taking them, then you have to revert back the very beginning. All of this adds up to an experience almost as frustrating as playing MW2 online.

This is the first 'Your Signature' location. But it's mine now. Take it from me, if you dare.
To overhyped, very unbalanced (OMA, Danger Close, Commando? Seriously?), too many boosters, JTAGs, etc. The game itself was wrecked by the "hackers and glitchers".
I tried Farmville, I thought it was pretty entertaining for awhile. I wrote a guide on how to optimize the amount of money you can make. However, it was poorly designed and suffered from obnoxious bugs and unnecessary resource use. I didn't like the social networking aspect at all though, I just wanted something that was like Harvest Moon yet not Harvest Moon.
I still don't understand the hate for Modern Warfare 2 though. The entire single player had me on the edge of my seat. The story wasn't too cliche but was exciting, the graphics were fantastic, the sound was polished, the gameplay was balanced, their was a variety of different gameplay styles...
I can see how many can say the multiplayer isn't on the same level as Halo, but it's still a lot of fun.
I grew up with **** games and MW2 is no Pacman for the Atari or Bubsy for the Playstation.

They asked me how well I understood theoretical physics. I told them I had a theoretical degree in physics. They said welcome aboard.
