Like the title says, what was your first "electronic game that involves interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device"?
My first video game was Pokemon Stadium for my Nintendo 64.
Good times.

In a world full of peaches my Johnny, don't ask for applesauce.
Spyro the Dragon was my first game as well! My parents didn't really (and still don't) think video games are a good way for me to spend my time, so we would borrow a friend's PlayStation every once in a while and take a crack at this.
A real video game for a console that I actually owned? Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. I played it at Toys R Us and was immensely confused about it. Couldn't walk through mirrors. Ended up getting it anyway and a GBA SP. At Christmas I got about 5 NES classic series games. I think. I'm pretty sure I got Super Mario Bros, Dr. Mario, The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda II, and Donkey Kong.
Next year was pretty good. My brother got a GBA SP and Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, and we played co-op. Next, he got The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past and the licensed game The Hobbit, which was actually pretty fun. For my birthday, I got Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, after wanting it for a long time after playing a demo thing on Nintendo's website. I also got Mario Party Advance, which was horrible.
Didn't really own a console until 2007, where I got a Wii with Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games.
Next console? Hopefully a 3DS for my birthday this year along with some launch titles. Can't wait!

Loved this game. It's what got me into strategy games in the first place.
Do you still have it? It could be worth a hefty wad of cash.

Greatest handheld Zelda ever.
You heard that, green and red.
Considering I was 5-6 at the time, I spent the first 30 mins trying to get out of the spawn area.
