Scrap Metal Salesperson: Buy scrap metal from Tinker Joe (Located at RobCo factory south west of Megaton) and sell to Walter in the Megaton water plant for 10 caps each (or positive karma if you choose to give for free)
Secret Cache behind Megaton Hollowed out rock with a Sniper Rifle & Stealth Boy.
Do not take a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. bobble head untill you get level 30 with almost perfect perk exception is intelligence bobblehead in Rivet City.
Suggested attributes at game start: 6 Strength 5 Perception 5 Endurance 5 Charisma 9 Intellegence 5 Agility 5 Luck.
These Attributes do:
Strength adds 10 LBS for weight carry capacity & Bonus damage with Melee Weapons
Perception adds LOS for compass to see enemies before they see you
Endurance adds max hp and gives 2% rad resist per rank and more poison resist also more oxygen when underwater
Charisma add a bonus multiplier with "speech" & "barter"
Intelligence adds more skill points as you level up so best have high when starting or you lose some points later on
Agility adds 2 action points per rank also gives slight running speed boost (game doesn't tell you though)
Luck adds critical chance boost by 1% per rank also increases item find rate by a small bit
Bobblehead Locations SPECIAL
Strength: Megaton, Lucas Simms' House on desk on 2nd floor (If you blow up Megaton before getting it's gone forever) And even though I put this in i'll still give chazbothegr8 credit.
Intellegence: Rivet City, Science Lab, Easy to spot on a table (I recommend to get it right after you leave Vault 101)
Barter: Evergreen Mills, (not enough info as of yet)
Speech: Paradise falls, Eulogy Jones' Room on a table
Energy Weapons: Raven Rock level 2, Near John Henry Eden's chambers (Get before you escape or you will never be able to get it as you won't be allowed back in... can only enter during "the american dream" quest)
Science: Vault 106, Lobby in a messed up room
Repair: Arfeu, Evan King's house, requires "Lockpick" level 50 (You wont lose karma for this due to bobblehead)
Medicine: Vault 101, Dad's office, Can get during Future Imperfect, Escape!, & Return to the homefront (can't ever get again afterwards unless you sabotoge the vault)
Unarmed: Rockopolis (uncharted location on world map but can be found west of smithy's garage aka vault 112)
Random Encounters Repeatables
Regulator Ambush (Must be evil or very evil)
Talon Company Merc Ambush (must be good or very good)
Exploding UFO (Drops 22 Alien Power Cells and a unique alien blaster called Firelance)
