Stunts/4D Sports Driving (MS-DOS, 1990) -A very early 3D racing game very similar to Hard Drivin', with several real-world cars to choose from (like the C4 Corvette and the Lamborghini LM-001), and tracks with big jumps, loop-the-loop's, stuff like that. The game even had a track editor. A small cult following persists to this day, exchanging tracks, and taking part in time attack competitions. Very common on abandonware websites.
Princess Maker 2 (MS-DOS, 1994) -A rather strange game where you are a father raising a girl from the age of 10 until 18. You determine her diet, her schooling, and her work, to build up certain stats. The game has more than 70 endings, good and bad. It was never released in North America, but a complete "beta" in English can be found on abandonware websites. The graphics are in a beautiful anime style and the music is pretty good for the time.
Let's see, I have played: (in order of appearance)
Grand Theft Auto
Star Wars: Battlefront II
Twisted Metal III
Grand Theft Auto 2
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
Master of Orion 2
Shining Force II
Crystal Caves (I'm surprised I remembered this one)
Super Mario Bros. 1&2
The first few Medal of Honors and Call of Dutys
Mechwarrior (Hard to get it to run anymore)
Sunset Riders (Gay cowboys FTW)
So the moral of the story is as simple as this: You can let your dreams go, but you're surely gonna miss
the chance to achieve greatness in the only life you've got. So forget all your problems and give it your best shot.
People are funny. Even a five-year-old knows how to spend money, but there’s plenty of adults who don’t know how to earn it. They feel better handing over money than bowing their head and taking it. They go on and on about how the customer’s always right, always the winner but isn’t that supposed to be how the seller feels, not them? But if everyone’s spending, who’s left to provide the service? I think a society where people prefer earning to spending is a healthier one.
