Now, it's not a bad game by any means, but given the people who praise this game, they make it sound like it's the Jesus Christ of video games, and it's not at all. If anything, it's predecessor, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, has a better chance of claiming that title.
Spore was my big "overrated game." I tried it once at a friend's house, bought it when it went on sale one day, and when I got to the Space Stage about 2 days after I bought it, I was like "...this is it? So my choices are to terraform new planets and meet new races?" While the game is much, much better with Galactic Adventures, it's still a very simplified game to play with not a whole lot to do even in the endgame.
yeah me too...they acted like spore was some sort of revolution in gaming when in reality it was a complete step backwards. four of the worst minigames I've forced myself to play, thinking something amazing would show up eventually. The creature stage was the only thing remotely close to fun imo. and I didnt care enough to to pay for an expansion
Every Call of Duty games after Call of Duty 4 is overrated due to the fact that they are technically rehash of a rehash.
Reason is that the level design is so linear, too much used of scripted events and overall unfair AI system that keep re spawning even on recruit difficulty.
Call of Duty 4 was still good but after that it went downhill.
Can I also say Angry Birds is an overrated game too?
"This will be the most amazing game ever"
"I mean really, the most amazing game... ever."
"It's practically endless. Almost infinite design options. Start as a cell, conquer the galaxy."
"I can finally get it! I am!
"This is fun!"
"This is pretty cool."
"Heh. This could keep my attention for a bit."
"What do you know? Despite all the effort in the world, my buildings are still just buildings, and my spaceship is still just a spaceship. The planet I terraformed? Still just a planet."
Spore was a good game. It only seems really bad because it was supposed to be so much better, though.
Yep. They over-hyped it. They also simplified it too much.
CoD Black ops Online sucked Balanced guns my @ss!
People abuse the fact that the most of the starting guns are overpowered. You have to level up to unlock guns and buy them with the points!!! Every attachment needs to be bought. Second chance perk SUCKS. HORRIBLE HIT DETECTION
Campaign sucked. Didnt make sense why we were on the missions and stuff. Even though it was back in the cold war. IT STILL SUCKED.
Modern warfare 2 was okay. The noobtubes online was annoying. The fact that the ACR has no recoil pisses me off. Good maps
The campaign made more sense than black ops.
I liked spec ops. :tongue.gif:
Final Fantasy 7. It was the one that gave some people the logic that "If a final fantasy is not involved to 7, it is stupid." or "If the main character is not cloud, he/she is lame." or "If the villain is not sephiroth, that villain is a failure."
I liked 7, but not to the extent that I have to be a total ass about how every final fantasy game is stupid compared to 7. The earlier games we're waay better than 7 imo. totally overrated. Most of the final fantasies after 6 we're pretty boring for me.
