Lego Knights Kingdom. Kept me up every night. And only cost me around $14. Graphics were nothing to brag about, but that game was amazing, Shame I can't find it.
Lego Island? What other game could you throw pizzas at bad guys? Hell, pretty much most of the Lego GBA games were awesome.
@Quatroking:Galidor? *high five* I think it's the one I'm thinking of.
Graffiti Kingdom, absolutely. Easily one of the best platformers ever.
I searched for this a few months ago, and played the crap out of it. Probably the best game I played on my PS2. I'm not sure if I would call it a good platformer, it felt more like an adventure-kingdom-hearts-ish game. Regardless I loved this game. The only thing that was lacking from it was the terrible voice acting, which was god awful.
But you know what? As soon as I beat the final boss, My PS2 died. I cant play games on it at all anymore. I have no idea why either. All I get is this weird red screen. Its even one of the newer skinny models.
Oblivion got better reviews and sold more copies than Morrowind. Therefore, either Morrowind is underrated or Oblivion is overrated. (It's actually both.)

No matter how good they say it is, it's better than that. Logically, then, it is always underrated.
Yes.

Diablo 2
Nothing Blizzard has ever done or ever will do is underrated.
Friends told me not to get it, and I read several reviews that described it as complete garbage and criticized it for its lack of a main storyline and poor graphics.
One of the funnest games I've ever played, if not a bit unpolished. Currently playing Sword of Damocles and 1866:Western mod and loving the $%#$ out of them.

Oh, and Diablo 2(Most people say it is underrated.).
It has a good story, a lot of NPCS, RPG parts and if combined with Dungeon Master 2, it will result in Baldurs Gate 2.

At the end of the day it's the chair I trust
The cushion is comfy and the works don't rust
With a straight line of vision to my Elvis bust
Watch the kingdom, eat the bread crust
Wierd, mine is working fine, no glitches, and it's a ported version.
OSX, hell yeah.

Machinarium, a great independant point and click puzzle game. its not so much the challenging puzzles, but the entire world you step into, creat music and sweet handrawn visuals give it such character. I had so much fun just looking around it and absorbing the atmosphere.
Also Icewind dale games. Similar to Balduars gate and other D&D games, its mainly focoused on fighting stuff with a little dialouge and a few quest in between , but mainly you'll just end up talking to people who'll you'll then fight]. Both the games have fairly interesting storylines and great locations [especially the second one].
But the combat, oh man the combat was great and relied heavily on your tactics, some of the fights i had to do 5 or times before i could get the right strategy. Nothing really beats walking into an undead enemies lair, insulting them with your Lawfull good Paladin, then attack them and thier army with all 5 of your guys hasted and your mage just casting fireballs on everything, and then transforming himself into a killing machine armed with flying swords.
I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes these real time combat strategy / roleplaying games.
Despite being a completely heterosexual male, I ****ing loved harvest moon. I even tried to make a clone of it in RM2k. It worked, sorta.
Ditto to this (except the clone....so far) I really like the SNES version, then PSX.
Well let's see what was actually underrated? Probably Way of the Samurai, I really loved the replay and changing story. The game changes based on what you do (not just the ending) and throughout you unlock heads (different characters), outfits and steal the swords of your unfortunate victims. The combat was OK, and pretty fast paced, I think the biggest complaint is how short it was. You could literally turn around and leave town the minute you walked in and end the game. But I had a lot of fun with the first two, and a third came out recently.
Also,

Not too sure but... Shadow of the Colossus. None of the "Hit _ to win!" sort of thing. You have to manually climb the Colossi to beat them. Others you have to out wit them.
Now if we can get a Shadow of the Colossus 2 of one shape or another... with improvements.
You have heard of The Last Guardian haven't you?
I'm surprised too someone else got a copy of Cubivore and kept it, I was lucky and found it in a video store for like seven bucks about four or five years ago. Hump points, yeah. :laugh.gif:

Got another one. Summon Night: Swordcraft Story. It's Tales of Phantasia with loli lesbians and crafting. I'd go further in-depth, but that's all it is. Tales of Phantasia with loli lesbians and crafting.
Sonic Spinball way back when on the Genesis. That was ridiculously fun, if not ridiculously hard, and the music was awesome.
Agreed. A lot of people were put off by its huge learning curve, but it's one of my favorites to replay now that I'm older. The factory level is my favorite. :3

Worms.
Oh yeah! No one I know has heard of Worms, aside from the many friends I introduced it to. The original is classic, but my favorite is Worms Armageddon - it got everything right without taking the genre too far (Worms 3D - UGH).
An opinion of my very own: Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits was underrated. Sure, its battle system and stuff weren't totally unique, but I thought the difficulty was perfect, the storyline (albeit slightly cliched) was gripping, and most of all the music is ****ing AWESOME! I really haven't heard so many good electronic songs with electric guitar in an RPG.

Especially for $2.50 on Steam :smile.gif:
It's great, especially when you consider it cost the same as two coffees.

ARE MY EYES DECEIVING ME.
IS THAT SOMEBODY ELSE ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH THAT HAS HEARD OF THIS GAME.
To clarify, the game by Zipper Interactive, correct?

Not underrated, just largely ignored.
Critics couldn't get enough of that one - it's not underrated.
Beyond Good & Evil - Now there's a classic. Very unfortunately I haven't had a chance to give it a go yet, but I have heard it's a true underdog.
