Sailor Cat needs to bring a wolf, a goat, and a cabbage across the river.
The boat is tiny and can only carry one passenger at a time.
If he leaves the wolf and the goat alone together, the wolf will eat the goat.
If he leaves the goat and the cabbage alone together, the goat will eat the cabbage.
How can he bring all three safely across the river?
EDIT: Nobody is allowed to eat anything, no bridge, no bigger boat... only what you can do in the game, they must end up on the other side UNHURT and alive...

There are 10 kinds of people who understand binary.
Those who do.
And those that don't.

Rain, rain, go away,
THAT'S WHAT ALL THE HATERS SAY.
Take the goat across and leave him on the far side. Return and get the wolf. Bring him to the far side, and take the goat back with you to the near side. Leave the goat and take the cabbage back to the far side. Leave it with the wolf. Return to the near side and pick up the goat. Take him to the far side.
I think the real question here is how the cabbage prevents the wolf from eating the goat.

I think the real question is how the wolf, cabbage and goat are all neglegable in weight. Goat + Human = 2 Passengers.
Or is it that the boat is operated by the passenger. So the wolf, goat and cabbage can all operate the boat. Which posses the question, why is a cabbage the same intelligence as a goat, and why does the cabbage count as a passenger, surely a cabbage doesn't weigh the same as a goat or a wolf. Too many flaws.

Relic of a bygone age.

I never thought of that, it's simpler than taking about 6 trips.
