Not sure if im posting in the right place here its been a few years since i used this site (had to make a new account) but i was thinking and wanted opinions on if i should record minecraft on youtube again? i started off doing and was going ok but my content was abit to mature for minecraft but now everyone on youtube is doing it. should i do it again?
I know this was months ago (have found your channel to see how good your going with it so far). But as a YouTuber that just started up again I went with different things to consider for Minecraft. Building maps (Quiz and Parkour so far) with things I get inspiration from (mostly mods or datapacks which I cover daily). On the mods side of things I cover niche/lesser downloaded mods probably I'd say under the 100,000 downloads, only rarely do I cover any above that, but many I cover at in the less than a 1,000 (ranging from all Modloaders: Forge, Liteloader, Rift & Fabric between 1.7.10 and 1.14.4), Retrospectives on mods. Covering datapacks from 1.13+. Comparing mods.
You could do Maps or PVP, or Let's Plays or Builds or Animations really.
Outside of Minecraft I made music with a simple program. I don't do much but it's interesting to get back into.
Either way it's up to you what games, aspects of a game or other things outside of gaming you want to do. I just continued/went a bit of a different direction from what I did when starting YouTube in 2016 (stopping for a bit) then coming back in 2018+.

very true and i do agree just not 100% if that's what others want to see or not
Try asking your community what games they want to see. That's the best option if you don't want to upset a lot of people.
