Sometimes the game will simply not load. I hit the continue game or the load game button and it just sits there with the loading screen. I've waited and waited, but it will only actually run half of the time. Any ideas?
it depends. Do you use the disc or is it a digital copy?
If it is a physical disc and you are playing on Xbox 360, this happens quite frequently and I personally suggest replacing the disc or purchasing the digital copy which in the long run is a bit cheaper at $14.95 on the Xbox store. You may also want to try cleaning your disc.
If it is on the digital end, I suggest opening a new game or loading a current save from the load screen, not the continue game option. In either occasion, It should boot up after that. If it continues to fail you may want to check how much memory is still available. A lot of people tend to forget just how demanding New Vegas can be on the older systems.
Personally, I would suggest upgrading if you are on the pre-gen consoles. I am working towards it myself and Black Friday isn't really that far away. Chances are there will be some really good deals then. As a matter of fact there was a seller on Ebay just a few days ago selling Xbox Ones for $30 flat free shipping. Not a bid but buy now. Sold 98 of them. I was so close! Just barely missed it.
Its digital from steam. The problem isn't overly rampant, but it still happens more than I would like it too. My computer is relatively new, and I have tried boht the load and continue game buttons. Both can have the problem.
