I always get an atmosphere of hell in every RP of yours, and your gang's RPs.
Why not have more variety in your RPs? Too boring? Die off too quickly?
GG is aiming for something like Harry Potter or something. I don't see any variety in Harry Potter other than changing plot lines. That pretty much sums up what GG is doing.
Sol has tried a variety of RPs, both here and outside of these forums. The latest one before Crimson Acad died because people thought it was 'too balanced'. Utter bull of a reason if you ask me. But yeah, they tend to die too quickly. People aren't that open to new ideas around here.
krazaz, his rp's didn't strike me as something interesting, but as far as I know that was fairly unique in its own right, since there were none other like it during that time.
Concerning Crimson Acad itself, that was Sol's attempt at an 'easy' RP that was still halfway decent. Good effort was made, but utterly wasted in the end. Back to the drawing board for that.
Concerning THM, I'm just in there for the lulz. What happens in our clique doesn't really concern you past that.
HMA is a school.
Derika is a continent.
This seems to me to be a significant difference.

Granted I'm just judging your RP on face value, but in this forum a shiny OP, a nice story, and low requirements are pretty attractive sight to most people.

I admit, the OP needs work, and quite a bit of it. But in my defense, I inherited the current OP from the previous thread and I haven't had the heart to change it. (Only add onto it to make it current.) (Derika is like the 5th iteration of The Gifted, it's history is deeper than one would think.)
However, the story-line has no holes and the requirements aren't bad in my opinion. Instead of devoting 8+ hours on formatting thousands of words onto individual wikia pages, how about I promise you that the RP itself is worth joining?

I generally stick to the same universe, because that's what I enjoy. I have some other things floating around that I might pull out once THM gets started up.
EDIT: What dimensional flux? Portals and shaz, sure, but I don't remember a dimensional flux.
SIDENOTE: I don't remember what I did Friday either.

I'm currently working on the rebirth of my most successful RP, Avion Archipelago, check out the interest check in the previous page, I'll give a progress note soon, almost finished with the Paradine moveset
Arguments happen, they just do, you can't stop it, no matter how much power you have, even if it takes years to settle, when it does, everyone is stronger for it. Rivalries can be made into friendships if you let them.
Some ideas are meant to be made into reality, but most need to be burned at the stake.

The Kitten, Alien, Zombie, Gifted war wasn't even all that bad. Kittens went feral, and that could happen anytime. Zombie's invaded en masse, which was unfortunate but difficult to prevent. The Alien attack simply capitalized on the zombie attack. And what choice did the Gifted have but to fight back?
It all worked out in the end anyways, the zombies were hunted down, the aliens left, and the cats calmed down. and characters were a little busy with the war to answer
I want to play a *medieval themed RP because I have a good character for that that would only work in that setting. Plus, most of these ones I've seen as a newer member are future/apocalypse based. Just for anyone wanting to know where to get a single player.

Those were the days of terrible frustration. I swear, I quit far too many quality RP's simply because of its speed. RPing kept me late up til the wee hours in the morning during that time.

Welp, better get a move on before we get ourselves pierced by spears and countless earthen spikes.
Concerning those who are staying here, I hope that you enjoy your time in the crumbling ruins that is the MCF Roleplaying section.
As I said before the page got nuked, it is the nature of kingdoms to rise and fall, so maybe sooner or later(I'm betting heavily on the latter), we shall see some good come out of the ashes here.
Make do with what relics have been left behind(The Workshop is a great place to visit) and we can one day achieve what has been done by our predecessors.
TL;DR: Cut the drama and get to work. Hope for the best that people improve in quality over time.
