Ulti chuckles, quite happy to help his friend, then pats Drake on the shoulder. "Good! I hate seeing my friends down like that. Now let's get some coffee." The fox pushes a button on the console that lets the doors automatically open for the two. As they step out, the doors close behind them and the truck locks itself. Ulti steps to the sidewalk and looks up at the sign, which reads 'Mother Gaia Cafe' in ornate lettering. Looking further up, the two can see that the city is at the base of a huge tree, easily a couple hundred miles tall. Ulti smile, looking back to Drake. "Come on. I'm buying." He opens up the glass door to walk indie. Inside the shop looks quite rustic. It has a mixture of a log cabin feel and modern styles that somehow blends together well. The patrons are a mix of humans and anthros, with the barista being an Irish Terrier guy. Most customers are dressed in either futuristic-style uniforms or plainclothes, all enjoying their coffee. The barista's work uniform gives off a bit of a Victorian vibe, though. The fox find a tall table with two chairs and sits.
The glitch almost immediately shakes his head. "Sorry, but I can't do that. That would put them in too much risk on a whim that we might be able to get them out and smuggle them away. I'm sorry, but I simply can't, in good conscience, take that risk."

Nezo saw the doctors go to rush as he quickly start to rush after them also, fallowing, hoping for the best in all this. If it was back in his universe, he would be a bit less worried cause of the amount of technology that exists. but here.. here he was worried. He didn't know exactly how advance their medical technology was so it did not help. He just fallows Jim right there.
Marcus smiles as he let Xavier pet him, staying near him, listening to what was happening right now, looking around.
"Well there is a city within walking distance from our house, we live just outside of it." Erin said to Julie as she began to move forward. She then said, "I guess you could say that we live on the countryside."
"When we get to Erin's house, there is a pretty nice view of the city from a distance if you want to see it." Endie offered. "Anyways, what is Middle City like?" Endie asked.
(No offense, Jay, but you haven't really been around long enough to be considered for a game, yet. Stick around a while and become a regular, then maybe. And soon something may happen that you can reply to. Eventually...)

Silver looked down at his arms. A new energy rippled across his body and through his system. "If that tick did what I think to me, I just need to amplify this new power and I can completely disrupt the fox's whole AI system. It will take a while, and I will need to go back to my world to get the assistance I need from my help. You go home and be with your family. I'll return in a while for you and your family and you will all be safe." Silver moved the energy through his body. He smiled as he thought of what this new energy could do.

Drake followed Ulti into the cafe, mesmerized by the beauty of this world and of the fact that he would soon have a family once more. He looked around at the people and smelled the air. "This is what I'm proud of. I don't know what sect of the multiverses this place is in, but whoever protects it and it's people, that is what I'm proud of."
(Well, eventually I plan to actually make an RPG based on the bar. It might not be fancy graphics, though. It would be more like the first six Final fantasy games, with pixel art, rather than fancy new graphics like the more recent FF games... Still, using characters from other people without their permission would technically violate copyright laws, plus you guys are cool and I wouldn't want to steal your characters or stories. It'd probably be a free game, too, since some of us use characters based in the universes of current games. Wouldn't want to get Microsoft or Nintendo on me because some characters are based on Minecraft or Pokemon respectively.)
(Oh, and this has nothing to do with anything, but I was bored in Photoshop class today and put Whoopi Goldberg's hair on Richard Nixon.)
"Just remember that when you are falling, turn it into a dive." ~Wookiefoot
"Why isn’t my life like a situation comedy? Why don’t I have a bunch of friends with nothing better to do but drop by and instigate wacky adventures? Why aren’t my conversations peppered with spontaneous witticisms? Why don’t my friends demonstrate heartfelt concern for my well-being when I have problems?… I gotta get my life some writers." ~Calvin, Calvin and Hobbes
Ulti chuckles a bit before waving to the barista, saying, "One double-shot peppermint mocha, please. And whatever my friend here wants." He then turns back to Drake. "That's just the thing, this world hasn't been under any Multiversal threat. This sector of the Multiverse has been pretty peaceful since its creation. Of course, I'll protect it if there is a danger, but the biggest problems are on a much smaller scale. Sure, defending entire universes from gods of destruction is important, but sometimes it's good to focus on smaller issues in worlds that don't have local saviors. Maybe not something so small as a building fire unless you happen to be around when it happens. That can be solved by local fire departments. I'm talking issues larger than the normal problem solvers. I don't know exactly what's going on in this world, but something bad is happening that could spell doom for these people. That's why we're specifically at a cafe. You tend to be able to overhear rumors about these things in places like this if you're listening carefully enough."
The glitch seems a bit angry at Silver by this point, his glitches getting more violent. "Look, I'm not going to stop you right now, but if you do go through with this and wind up putting my family in danger, I will end you. Assuming the fox doesn't end you first. But whatever. That's your problem. Goodbye." Not giving Silver much of a chance to respond, his glitches become more and more sporadic and spread out until they're entirely gone and reassembling near a door somewhere in the castle.
Julie shrugs at the question, following Erin. "Probably a lot different that you're used to. In my world, the planet is entirely covered by city. The lower, supporting level is Lower City, which is basically the slums. Then there's Middle City, the middle-class neon paradise. It's where most of the shopping districts are. The top layer of the world is Upper City, but that's mostly for the huge corporations and the rich folk. Middle City is wonderful, though."
I/O follows the group out into the forest. "I don't really like this. Going in the forest means going off the grid. If I run outta power, there's nowhere I can recharge. And my skateboard gets tangled up in grass..."
Julie chuckles a bit, sparking her arms up. "You won't run out of energy with a human generator around."
Jim and the doctors bring Kerry out of the ship through the nearby exit, going down the ramp onto the dock. They soon arrive at a kind of railway system on the flagship, which the doctors hook the bed to before they all get on. Once Kerry and her entourage (including Nezo) are on the rail car, it speeds off. After a moment, it arrives in the medical wing of the flagship, where the doctors make their way to a specific room with Kerry on the hovering bed. As the doctors go into the room, Jim stays behind to talk to Nezo. "It's better we don't get in their way while they work. We've got some of the best docs in the galaxy, to our great fortune. While we wait, we should go to the saloon and grab a drink. I'll answer any questions you might have..."

Drake follows up with an order after Ulti. "Vanilla Bean Frappuccino." He then listens to Ulti go on about small scale problems in worlds. Drake thinks about life as a traveler, simply saving families instead of entire species and all instances of them. He then decides to listen for rumors like Ulti was talking about.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Silver shrugs as Glitch vanishes. Silver pulls a tablet out of thin air and begins to type on it. He begins to mumble to himself as he throws the tablet at the ground and create a portal to another world. "Glitch and I both know that his family will be in danger until I secure them somewhere out of the fox's reach. And I know I'm in danger until I deal with Drake. But nothing says safety like new found power." Silver walks through the portal and flares his energy, changing the portal from its pink hue to a spastic grey. The portal closes behind Silver as he enters into what looks to be the chaotic energy of creation and destruction, as if the void between dimensions was turned from its solemn energy awaiting creation into a swirling maelstrom of energy clashing.
Silver hops from floating rock to floating rock until he eventually reaches a massive city, with buildings sideways and split in pieces and rooms. Silver reaches a massive castle at the center and enters, seeming to enter another dimension. The room inside of the castle was now in a still blue chaos and all that was existing in the room was a path that led up to a massive throne. At the throne sat a demonic figure that towered to about fifteen feet in height. Next to him stood a small black winged child, another demon but green, a shadow swordsman, a purple demon clad in a red cape, and a pale demon.
The four demons kneeled to Silver as he entered. The child looked at Silver, then to the demon in the throne. The demon upon the throne grinned at Silver. Silver turned over his hand to show his palm to the demon. Suddenly, he gained his normal silver wispy aura, then a new energy overcame him completely. The room began to shake as the black nightmare lightning rippled across his skin. Then, his silver aura turned pitch black except for the silver still outlining his body. The black soon became infused with red and purple, the lightning turning red and flowing across his body and his aura. Silver sighs, then follows with a cackle. "Draisoko. The time is ripe."
Draisoko lets out a cackle of torment and grins, all teeth showing proudly.
((Okay... I know who you based Draisoko on. And anyone who has played Tekken should know too. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only person that a fan of Tekken.))

Nezo smiles softly at this, relax.
"Alright... would be nice to have a drink... Kinda a bit thirsty also with all that moving around against those aliens... lucky I had some fire weapons in my arsanal..." he then says, smiling softly, looking into his device that was holding all his items. He still had some supplies left at least, so if something were to happen, then he would be ready.
"Just a quick question... are there many types of aliens in this universe?" he asks.
