This was getting out of control. Nate had never intended to kill anyone.

Nate stepped back towards Caeruleus. This whole plan was falling apart. Nate didn't feel like helping any of them, except for Selene and Caeruleus who had not considered such crimes. Nate fought back tears as he thought of his father. Dead because of some journey like this. Nate was reliving the life and journey of his father's killer. He had to stop this. Nate racked his brains so hard for answers that his brain couldn't possibly supply fast enough. His face turned pink, and he realized that he had stopped breathing. He let the air out of his lungs and quickly drew a new breath. He would need to think this over more, but he could guarantee that he would find an answer. After all, he was a puzzle master, a mystery solver. This thought cheered him up severely, and his complexion quickly returned to its normal state. Nate set his jaw, he would stop at nothing and be stopped by nothing.
