Mark saw a monolith of crystal off in the distance. Stepping up to it, he noticed that there was a camp built around it. That could be trouble.
Creeping closer, he realized the camp was military. Men with rifles, barbed wire, watch towers. Mark concentrated all his energy on the lightwaves around him, attempting something he was hesitant to try but had never tried before.
Suddenly, he disappeared from sight.
And his sight disappeared.
Unable to see because of the deflection of light waves, he used his memory to walk forwards as his energy drained.
Once he was inside, he collapsed the effect and fell against a wall, panting.
He studied the clothing of the men in the camp; camouflage.
Ducking inside a building, I attempt to make myself look like on of them with the clothing lying on the floor.
Perfect.

Normally I would put an advertisement for a game that doesn't exist or a stupid sign telling you you've got a virus.
Not today.

(( Yes, I do have a job working for Google. Trollking, I thought you meant something like a weapon for each of them, so I'll have to say no for now. Maybe we can discuss something later. I'd prefer if you were to stay between Eternia, Genovia, etc. BUT, if you need, you can make a new, temporary country. Anyways, I don't know if I've said this yet, but the practice of magic in this time is outlawed, forbidden, banned, a crime greater than murder. ))
((Like, with people? Normal people?))
[Sora]
Sora had no idea where he was, and he didn't want to stay in the building any longer. Blasting a hole through the museum with a simple spell, Sora ran through, and came outside to a dark world. It was obviously night time and there were no street lights, but Sora didn't really mind. It felt sort of serene. Except for the shrieks of the people inside the building he was in. After getting freed, Sora noted that things didn't feel the same. Walking across the cement pavement, Sora entered a small building with glass windows all over the front. The person behind the desk was obviously wondering where the shouts were coming from, and to see such a young kid go into the convenience store at such a late time was a bit unnerving. Sora felt hunger claw at his stomach, so he looked around and saw a stick of foil. Picking it up, Sora ripped at it and bit into it, tasting something sweet in his mouth. The shopkeeper looked at him and stammered "H-Hey kid, you have to pay for that!" Sora simply put up his hand, making the shopkeeper think he did. "O-Oh sorry..." Sora replied "No problem. Thanks for this thing."

Demetria and the mortals arrive at a secluded church. "So, you guys don't allow praying to gods?" Demetria asks. "Sadly, nope," Jenna says. Demetria steps inside, but there is no one inside. Blood stains the tile, and the stained glass windows are broken. There is a single, large piece under the altar, which has been tipped over and stepped on. Demetria burns the splintering wood, and takes a look at the window. She gasps. "What is it?" asks Michael. Demetria simply shows him. It is the Heroes, together, portrayed in the colors or gemstones- the one that looked like her was white. "This could help us find the others! Thank Kalila we found this-" Demetria is interrupted by Michael. "who's Kalila?" Jenna sighs. "I'm sorry, Demetria, but Kalila has been dead. She was the first of your generation of gods to die of sadness over your loss. Next was your father. I'm.. Sorry." Demetria's lower lip begins to quiver. "I.. I need a moment." She runs to the corner of the church.
((Um, filler knowledge, Jenna is basically a gods generation geek. She knows lots about them.))

I hear someone behind me, although the darkness still hides the from my sight.
"Who's there?" I ask the void. I close my eyes, in order to focus on the Souls that could be nearby. A few woodland creatures and... Alice?

I had the tunnel exit underneath Timmy's house. I hoisted the small child up from the hole and climbed up myself.
"What's this?" I asked, looking at his stuffed animal.
"Dats Mistah Teddy." He said, his tears slowing down, although still rolling down his cheeks. "Mommy couldn't fix him."
Without replying, I clap my hands and wrap my fingers around the toy and it's unattached arm. In a small flash of light, the stuff animal is fixed.
"Woah, dats magic! Mommy said dats no allowed. Atwas will come and get chu." He said, giving me a bit of reason to giggle at his way of speaking. I rubbed Timmy's head and stuck my hand to my left. I summoned a few books I had on Alchemy and began to rewrite them into simpler text.
"Tim, I know it's late at night, but could you run and grab your closest friends? I'm going to teach you and them of magic. Don't fear whoever this Atlas guy is, I could beat him in a fight." I said. I flexed my left arm to prove it, and Timmy nodded, even mirroring me to show he was strong.
"Whaz your name?" He asked.
"I don't know. I guess you can call me The Vigilante." I say, before remembering a cool little phrase, "When you get them, come back here, knock on the door, and say 'We work in the Dark, to serve the Light.'"
Timmy nods, understanding his mission. He dashes out the door, excited to be able to do all this.

Demetria wipes her eyes and stands up to hear the thundering sound of an army arriving. She turns to Jenna and Michael and says, "Run, go hide!" She tries to salvage the stained glass window as the army charges in. They sense large amounts of magic in her, sothey attack. "Atlas won't like this, he will find her.." They mutter things about a man called Atlas. "Don't even try." Demetria launches a plume of flame at the army, knocking out many and killing lots. She then sends a large fireball high in the air to alert the others of her presence. She watches as it soars above the clouds, pulsating with white energy.
Jenna and Michael watch from under a broken window as the goddess of fire kicks some serious butt.

While most of the Legendary Crystal Structures spread across the globe had mysteriously disappeared, few of incredible notoriety still remained. One in particular lied at the top of a mountain, known as the "Sapphire Skull", said to sit at its peak. Those who ventured there are said to hear a strange noise before they mysteriously are knocked unconscious! Waking up deaf...
However, most doubted the crystal structures realism, one of these people being a middle-aged criminal by the name of Veran. Veran was fairly neutral about the idea of the skulls existence but didn't believe it would deafen him. Instead, he hoped to claim the crystals it was composed of and sell them for money to use to get out of town.
Upon arriving at the top of the Mountain, Veran found the Skull in all its beauty, surrounded by several crystal shards as well. Within the skull lied what appeared to be a women encased in crystal sitting on the Skulls outstretched tongue. Veran grinned as he tried to fit the whole skull in a bag he was holding, accidentally touching the women in the process.
A bright light danced across the women's body as the crystals covering her shattered, revealing her lovely form. Her mouth stretched wide as a scream radiated from her, stretching out for a few moments before she realized where she was. She hopped off the tongue of the structure, which quickly grabbed Veran before the tongue retracted back into the skulls mouth, taking Veran with it, killing him. Jenna looked nonchalant as she walked away from the skull, already in the process of crumbling into nothing.
She hopped off the Mountain, skidding down the side before landing, creating a cloud of dust. She proceeded to extend get wings, flying next to a house where she had sensed Tobias's signature.
[Garrett]
Demetria has sprung into action, the earth tells me - Ronin will have to wait if someone's already fighting. I launch myself as quickly as possible to Demetria's location. Finally reaching her, I slow myself by landing in the middle of the battered army, skidding along the ground. Knocking marge amounts of bodies and military gear due to my speed, I finally grind to a halt several feet in front of Demetria, still on my feet.
"Am I late?" I ask.
[Tobias]
In no time, Lil' Timmy returns with a whole bunch of little kids.
"I've just finished writing it for you guys. I expected a lot of kids, but not this many. You'll have to share. Anyways, time to learn Alchemy..." I start, before teaching them everything from basic to advanced forms of Alchemy, nearly everything I knew about this branch of magic.
*** Several Hours Later ***
The kids, ranging anywhere from three to nine years old, were already adepts with magic. They had learned more in six hours than most mages could learn in six years.
"That pretty much sums everything up. We're going to teach this world that Magic is present in everybody's lives, even little youngsters like you guys." I tell them, quite proud of my trainees.
"What are we?" Timmy asks. It was an odd question, as the obvious answer would be young mages, but I knew he wanted a group name.
"You said you are a Vigilante? Why not Vigil's Sigils?" Joshua, a kid who had asked me to teach him a bit more about fire, so I taught him the Rune of Demetria. To be honest, that was probably the best name we were going to get. I nodded, approving the title.
An hour or so later, early in the morning, I had the kids run out and help people using Alchemy. What scared me were the guards, who seemed to be everywhere, although the kids were experts in Hide N' Seek. Bored with being holed up in Timmy's house, I left to go and get different clothing.
Apparently, there is this thing that mortals use called a "Hoodie." They are like Robes, but only cover the torso and come with a hood. I picked a few of them up, plus some jeans and sweatpants, which all seemed really comfy. What really caught my attention on my shopping spree was the technology store, which had strange devices. One was a Smartphone, which enabled people to easily communicate. I bought, quite literally, about thirty of them, one for each kid, plus extra. Before heading back to the house, I visited a library, which had a cafe built into it. I picked up some books based on the History of the Gods, and dropped by the cafe for a muffin and some coffee.
Something that caught my eye was a young boy, a few years younger than me (if you don't count the thousand years of slumber) who was waving around a bundled up thing of paper. I purchased one from him and began to read from it. Apparently, it was a Newspaper, and it, well, was a paper with the news on it.
I went back to the house and started planning out some random stuff to annoy Atlas and the Krios Corps. After all, they were suppressing magic from this world and refusing to let people use it.(( Trollking, I don't really want people interacting with Tobias just yet. He's gunna pretty much take over a town. ))
"OhmygodIhavesomethingverimportanttotellyoubutfirst, whereareweandwhenareweandwhyiseverythingsoweirdandwhatwerethosecrystals?" She said bubbly as she squeezed the life out of Andy, literally nearly pulling his soul from his body, until she let go.
[Andy]
"I don't know much. Just slow down. From what I gathered, we're roughly a thousand years into the future. The times have changed, Gods have been born and have fallen dead, empires have risen and crumbled. I'm trying to find Tobs, but I'm not having much luck. He's disappeared, gone under the radar." I say. It was awkward being with Alice, but I wasn't embarrassed, as nobody else was around.
"Oh. Hey um, I have something to tell you. I, I -" she stopped suddenly before, a look of frustration crossed her face as she lunged forward, planting her lips on Andy's own, creating a swirl of varying temperatures before finally setting on a romantic cold.
