LORE
The great and powerful wizard Grithalmor has put a terrible curse on the kingdom of Islanthia. The citizens of Islanthia have been magically enslaved to do work for the great wizard. Grithalmor proceeded to use the Islanthians to begin construction on a shrine that will provide him with enough power to enslave the world and, ultimately, the universe. A few members of the nearby village of Antalia saw Grithalmor while he was enslaving the Islanthians and warned nearby villages of what was to come. The leaders of the villages searched long and hard to find the best warriors, but unfortunately they got stuck with some very unskilled warriors who had weapons that were unimpressive at best. Now it is the duty of these "heroes" to find Grithalmor, defeat the evil wizard, and save the world before it's too late.
RULES:
1. Do not godmod or powerplay.
2. Only take the role of your own character. The only exception is if I private message you saying you're a game master, and even then you can only control characters that don't belong to another player. For example, if you meet a guard outside a city, only a game master can control the guard's dialog and actions.
3. Don't start with amazing top-notch skills or weapons.
4. The keyword is antalia.
5. The game masters make the final decisions in terms of what happens next in the game. I am the head game master. Ultimately, my decision is the final say, even if a game master makes a different decision than me. I'll only do that if I have to, of course. I will privately message anyone I believe can also make decisions if I am offline.
6. Have fun! This is meant to be funny and interesting rather than extremely intense!

Character name: Valandar the Old
Village: Laeantium
Class: Sorcerer
Weapon of choice: The Staff of Sorcery
Keyword: Antalia
Brief Story/Description: Valandar the Old is a 150 year old sorcerer. He is very well known... as one of the worst sorcerers alive. After many years of work, Valandar the Old has a wide range of accomplishments, from playing pranks on the villagers by making houses disappear (which he was unable to bring back) to creating a spell to double the length of his beard. Believing himself to be the oldest and therefore wisest man in the area, Valandar the Old elected himself to be the leader of the people who were sent to save the world from Grithalmor. The faith of the other villagers that Grithalmor would be defeated dropped drastically when Valendar the Old became the leader.
Didn't think about it like that. Go ahead! I just don't want super OP people is all. For the future, if you make an Islanthian, explain in the description how it's possible.
Character name: Janus Serinthean
Village the character is from: Islanthia, when the people of Islanthia were enslaved he was visiting another noble family.
Class: Knight
Weapon of choice (Keep in mind you will start unskilled): Long sword
Keyword: antalia
Brief story or description for your character (optional): Janus Serinthean’s family for many generations had been high ranking officers in the king’s military. When Janus was 11 years old he began training with a long sword eventually becoming one of the most skilled men in the lands by 26 years of age. However during a previously successful military career when he was 31 Janus was taken prisoner by a group of bandits which had been over a hundred strong and stormed the camp during the night. When Janus’ father refused to pay the ransom his hand was severed to prove just how serious the bandits were about their threat.
When he returned home no longer able to fight with any decent skill he was all but disowned by his family, his father sent him to negotiate trades with other families and appear in front of the people so they wouldn’t forget their rulers. Over time he started to learn to use his left hand with more skill but was still adjusting when he received the news that Islanthia had been enslaved. He decided that he would sign up for the party of adventurers so that he may be redeemed in the eyes of father and family or so that he could reclaim the wealth of his family if they had been killed.
Picture of your character (optional):Like Jorah Mormont but with darker hair.

Class: Spy, Scout, whatever you call the stealthy person.
Weapon of choice: Dagger

Brief Story/Description: Laondio was always an introvert. He only respected his mother, because his father left him when he was a child. One day, the Village Herald announced that Islanthia had been enslaved. His mother told him, and Laondio felt something inside him. A feeling of justice, that he was supposed to help defeat the Evil One. He trained in secret from there since. He tested himself in front of many village elders, and eventually he got elected.

Valandar the Old picked up his mighty staff or sorcery. Using all the magic he could conjure, he summoned all the warriors with a loud blaring sound. The trees shook and the ground rumbled, causing great destruction in Laeantium as trees crushed huts and the rumbling ground caused support beams to collapse. Valandar was quite proud of the powerful force of the noise.
Valandar lowers his staff and casually walks through the village to collect his spell book, acting as though nothing had happened at all. Then he moves on towards the village temple, which now had large cracks running down the sides, to speak with the monks that had promised to give him words of wisdom.
*Turning around* "Ahh, you are here! I am the great and powerful sorcerer known as Valandar the Old. I am the greatest sorcerer you'll see from Islanthia to, well, here!" A few people snicker at this. "Are you one of the men sent to aid me in the battle against Grithalmor?" A few more people laugh.
"All of us are here, to defeat Grithalmor. We need to work together, lest Islanthia will be no more." *The villagers stopped laughing, because they almost forgot that Islanthia was enslaved

"Yes, of course! I have a plan! Allow me to speak with the monks, and then we can begin the journey." Valandar looked at the sky and saw it was getting dark. Then he looked at the village of Laeantium, which was still filled with broken buildings and trees. "On second thought, perhaps we should leave right now. The nearest village is Panengar. We should be able to make it to there before it gets too dark."
"Of course! I am one of the best sorcerers, after all!" A large crowd had gathered around the group of adventurers to see what was going on, and they all laughed. Valandar raised the staff of sorcery and aimed it at the graveyard. The crowd suddenly had a look of horror on their faces as the remains of their ancestors were all merged into an undead horse. Valandar climbed onto his "beautiful" creation. Its legs started to wobble and the sound of snapping bones could be heard for a few seconds. It was obvious to everyone but Valandar that the horse probably wouldn't make it more than half an hour before crumbling into a pile of flesh and bone that no amount of sorcery could revive.
"To Panengar!" Valandar shouts, then rides off towards Panengar. The horse is obviously under severe stress, but it runs rather quickly. Before long, Panengar is in sight. At that very moment, Valandar's horse collapses. A dark green magical fluid flows from the horse's mouth as it dies. As the travelers approach the village, a black lightning bolt with evil so strong that you can sense the power within it strikes one of Panengar's best warriors and kills him. The men rush over to the warrior, then look across the village to see the adventurers. Their eyes set on Janus when they see he has a longsword. "You there!" a villager shouts at him, "That man was one of our best fighters! We are in the middle of a war with Islanthia. We don't know what's gotten into them, but they have been acting rather strange lately. Are you skilled with your weapon? We could use some help in an attack tonight! Do not worry, we see you are busy and we only require your services for the night."
Since Laondio was last, he only came after he heard the lightning. Laondio looks over at the dead body and his eyes widen. He says to Valandar, "What happened to that man? I have seen what has happened to your horse, but how did this man die?"

Valandar turns to Laondio. "He was struck by lightning! This isn't my work, I am well beyond the skills used in that spell. If I wished to kill him, I could do better." Valandar walked over to the villagers. "I am the famed sorcerer, Valandar the Old! Perhaps you have heard of my works." The villagers laugh, knowing what his "famous works" actually are, and instead talk to Janus. "We would be in great debt to you if you could assist us! You may not be aware, but Panengar has many skilled residents. Perhaps we could make a trade! You assist us, and we will provide something you need in return."
Laondio says to Valandar, "I suppose we should help them. Who knows, they might give us information that will lead to Grithalmor." Laondio speaks to the villagers, "It is a deal! We will help you for the night. In return, you give us a reward."

"Then we have a deal." At that, a villager comes forward with 3 horses. "You are to ride to Islanthia tonight. We expect it will no longer exist by the morning." Valandar gets on his horse and rides off without a second thought. He holds his staff in front of him and it glows brightly, like a torch.
((Weren't we going to help them in attack tonight? if yes ignore this post))
Janus decides against taking the horse from the village and mounts his own instead. He catches up with Valander after a short bit of time.
Yes, the attack is on Islanthia. To sum it up, we're helping Panengar destroy Islanthia.
The Panengar warriors, as well as Janus and Valandar, approach what used to be the great city of Islanthia. It is now very dull and the people act like zombies. They are carrying tools and stones to build the shrine. The shrine, which is covered in glowing black markings, is in the center of the village. It is protected by many guards. Valandar rushes towards the shrine on his horse, then quickly retreats. "The shrine! The shrine holds the power of the curse on these people, but we must be cautious. If we get too near it will enslave us with it! I felt drawn to it myself." Valandar focuses with intensity on the staff of sorcery and aims it at the shrine. A beam shoots from the staff and hits the shrine, causing the glowing black markings to become dim. "The shrine is safe to approach, but only for a few minutes! You cannot be there when the shrine reactivates." Valandar gets off the horse and catches his breath. "I used a lot of energy on that spell. You'll have to move on without my assistance."
